It's easy to forget that Shep and the others actually do have jobs - they are TV personalities!

He owns several bars too.

I remember them discussing Shep's money in earlier episodes. Cameran referred to it as "mailbox" money. I think he has investments, the bars, etc. He built a $1M+ dollar home on the beach there. He's clearly doing fine financially.

And, while he may be immature, etc., he has every right to live his life the way he wants. And as we all know, there are plenty of guys in the DC area who are just like him. And if they don't want to settle down, well, that's their option. Not everyone has to get married and live a conventional life.

He has family money, that is what paid for the bars he owns.

I noticed her reaction to Shep telling her that was very similar to the way she reacts when she's been caught at other stuff--like her whole unholy 'best friends relationship" with Thomas. I think she lies a lot.

I 1000% agree. Same reaction as to when she claimed she invited Katherine to Shep's birthday party. She is not cute enough, or young enough, to pull off the cutest little girl routine anymore.

Is it that or is she really just incredibly stupid/flighty, etc?

I don't know if she is smart enough to come up with these schemes. I don't think she can think any further than where she is getting her next glass of wine.

I don't think she's dumb at all. She is Katherine 15 years from now but she never locked down her baby daddy early enough. She absolutely refused to invite Katherine to the party for Shep and finally admitted it.

Frankly I get her desire to not want Katherine there, but the party was for Shep and he requested Katherine. Landon shouldn't have hosted if she wouldn't accommodate all his friends.

He's doing fine financially bc he's a trust fund baby. He hasn't actually done anything remarkable professionally to warrant his condescending attitude towards Craig.

His attitude is from Craig being a liar. Craig's an idiot for lying. And I doubt he'll ever take the bar.

Is Landon more attractive than I think?

Her plan seems to be to land a rich dude but to me she looks a little weathered. I definitely would think that Katherine, even with all her baggage, would be more appealing to the type of guy looking for a trophy wife.

Agree. Landon temporarily landing her white whale when she was married to Stacy Dash's ex husband.

I actually still like Shep. But his issues with Craig do seem to be amplified by a fair amount of jealousy. First, their relationship seemed to get much worse once Craig beat him in the date auction. Second, notice he was bff with Craig when Katherine chose him over Craig yet as soon as Craig has Naomie who in southern charm world is a good catch (pretty, young, smart, not dramatic, family appears to be well off) Shep hates everything about him! It probably bothers him that he likely couldn't get someone like Naomie at his age because why would an eligible woman her age that isn't a golddiger want to be with an almost 40 y/o man that still hasn't grown up?

What happened to Whitney? His haircut looks awful and like he has too much Botox but also that the skin on his face has fallen. He just looked so bizzare to me tonight.

His model girlfriend dumped him.

I thought the scenes with Naomie and her French parents were interesting.

I would also be frustrated with Craig when he is slacking off like that!

Honey if you don't think Landon is dumb as a rock you need to do a bit of self-evaluation.

+1 She is very, very stupid. But she is tragic because you can tell that she was aware of her beauty when she was young and learned to use it, and now that it is on the wane, she has nothing left. I don't think she has realized that her looks are almost gone, though, and she still sees herself as a young, cute girl. She will be insufferable in middle age.

Well, he will be 49 in June. Gravity and age happened. Thomas is 54...Did anyone notice how the camera kept zooming in on Thomas' gut last night? Ha! And who was that guy Walker, Shep's random friend with the feathered mullet and ugly sweater?
