I remember them discussing Shep's money in earlier episodes. Cameran referred to it as "mailbox" money. I think he has investments, the bars, etc. He built a $1M+ dollar home on the beach there. He's clearly doing fine financially.

And, while he may be immature, etc., he has every right to live his life the way he wants. And as we all know, there are plenty of guys in the DC area who are just like him. And if they don't want to settle down, well, that's their option. Not everyone has to get married and live a conventional life.[/quote]
