I was always wondering about this once you get to U13/GA/ECNL. I know at the younger ages you can switch teams at any time as long as you pay your full balance. Your player card is your player card.

Ok, so your kid is the one who hasn’t yet, but most others have. Most aren’t going to FVU and most of those kids are staying together. It is a bad look to sit on the offer for several weeks, especially as all the other sessions continue to get delayed. I am sure you know this but coaches are spiteful, so just be careful.

just curious on the hostility here since we're considering MYS as an option. An old teammates moved to the team and they seem generally happy with the situation. Why don't people like the coach? I know he moved over from VYS, but he doesn't seem as polarizing as other coaches mentioned here.

Well, it gets more expensive at U13... depending on Club and team Level... $2800 to $3200 for the year.

I was always wondering about this once you get to U13/GA/ECNL. I know at the younger ages you can switch teams at any time as long as you pay your full balance. Your player card is your player card.

That is how clubs should function. STJ charges you $1500 for a player card at u12. I can't imagine what they charge for u13 and older.

the ranking system is generally pretty accurate within some tolerance. Even at young ages. Loudoun 1st VA 51st in usa SYC 3rd VS 78 in usa.

Coach B has been purposely playing against lower skill leveled u13 teams all year. When they play appropriate leveled teams they do not out pro-form 6-0 anymore. I can't help but wonder why. SYC doesn't do this. Loudoun also plays down 2014 NVA girls to pad certain games/tournaments while SYC does not. They are not the same and you're obsessive tracking of stats that don't actually matter won't change that.

They won their 3 games at the GA showcase and won the USL-Y championship (without NVA kids). Isn't that good competition?

Ha. Anyways, I guess we will see when they play in the top bracket of Jeff Cup. SYC is seeded a tier lower. Both could play each other at ASIST as well. Assuming Loudoun team stays together when they go NVA, there will be a lot of chances to play each other.
