| Yorktown was absent all three starting mids. Not sure anyone on this board was predicting a WesPo Cosby final last year at this time. A lot can happen between now and June. I do think Robo is deeper this year and having all four starting poles committed is hard to ignore. I would favor them, but the ususal suspects of YT, BF, Mad, Cosby, Langley will have a shot. Indy will mix it up, good or bad, and maybe a Herndon, Chantilly or Oakton team have a say. |
| People talk about Robinson defense leading that team. Not so sure. Committed poles, yes but I think that offense will score enough that the defense won't have to carry the team. |
I love the break down... However, you may not had seen Riverside the entire day.... They beat Freedom by 4 and then they beat both Oakton and Yorktown by 5+... I dont think any other team there had those margins of victory... |
They were missing their goalie and a few starters. Plus their best attackman was not there but they still had the CNU pole playing . |

| Beat Langley when it mattered* |
| how many seniors did Indy graduate |
|
Fogo, best mid who their offense ran through, 1 attack, 1 defense.
They return their top scorer, 4 poles with a lot of big game experience, 3 mids, goalie, and added a D1 pole. |
| I thought they graduated a couple more poles? |
Are you referencing Fall Brawl for how to assess teams going into the real lacrosse season?!? |
| 20 and 58 are the only two I know of. 20 is a loss. 22, 43, are back 10. 13 is as good or better than 58 was. Elgas is better than 20 was. Overall I would think their defense would be better than last year. |
|
Ok, but was that full field? The schedule indicates it was not, so how are we using Sixes or whatever style lacrosse to make assumptions about full field lacrosse? |
The Turkey Shootout is full field 10v10. The Fall Brawl is a short field 7v7 tournament. Riverside did not have Varsity teams in the Fall Brawl. The posters are referring to the Turkey Shootout. So, we were able to see a better sample size of what is to come for the Spring from those contests. |
Thank you for explaining, I didn't understand well and make a bad interpretation. |
