safe to say region D is wide open

Any other good scrimmages happening this week?

There is a Tri-Scrimmage tomorrow between Woodson, Oakton, and Freedom S-R

We live in an era of weak public school teams that don't have the depth they did 8-10 years ago. The dominate teams who have a shot to win it all are ones who have 1-2 D1 caliber guys with a handful of D3 depth guys.

The era of the 2018 Robinson team w/ 7 D1 guys on their roster are over.

look at West Po last year. They had Maloney (State POTY and a true freshman Starter at Jacksonville) who won them the state championship. You remove him and they are losing to all 7 other teams in the state tournament last year.

all the top 3-5 teams have at least 2 Studs that they rely on to help win almost ALL of their close games, and have semi competent role players around them.

Milone from Langley was coming off a 100 point season. He was in line to probably put up 125 points this spring. That is about 35% - 40% of their entire offensive production that they will be losing, on a team that could only score 2 goal against robo last year.

You remove him and I don't see them beating Robo, Indy, Madison, Battlefield, or possibly even yorktown.

Langley plays Madison week1, score predictions?

Langley still has one division one player, and one future division one player, so they should be fine. As well as a bunch of kids who would be division 3.

Battlefield by 7?

Riverside is the best team in the state by a pretty wide margin this year. I know the Indy faithful don’t want to hear that but this one won’t be close.
