Asked why he had done that, she answered, "He bought the rifle so I would kill myself."

Same week, another man robbed a local grocery store at gunpoint and took the police on a chase with girlfriend and baby in the car. Care to guess who'd more likely to own the legal gun? I wonder what would have happened if peaceful gun-owner was in the store at the same time that robber was there. He surely would have noticed the gun on peaceful man's hip. Would he have committed the crime as a result?

Don’t care about law abiding gun owners. I don’t care about your feelings and possessions, I worry about people being shot, especially kids.

A law abiding gun owner has nothing to worry about from increased gun regulation. I think the problem is the gun owners aren't actually law abiding and that's why they are so freaked out about gun control.
