There isn’t one college coach out there that cares how a club team is ranked freshman year. Go to Capital Orange - do the work- get better and get seen sophomore year when it counts and you’re playing YJ, Mass Elite, etc. Pride is NEVER in the brackets with the top teams and often not invited to the biggest tournaments. |
Ask any honest 23 or 24 Pride parent how their process was.... |
I think you quoted the wrong post here? Not sure how that relates to what is stated above. |
|
Truth? Parents are planning and scamming as we speak for a few clubs. Emails and calls going out to "cluster" girls for certain teams. Calls being made to program heads.... Girls left for other teams last year to actually get developed by real coaches. Not parents who played favorites. |
Where is this all shaking out? Any significant movement on Blue or Orage? After that, where are players going...Pride, Stars or MCE? does Next Level not have a high school team? |
| Currently no movement, but I expect once the caps roster is set movement will begin. The big question is going to be where to the best girls end up. There are good arguments for both Pride and Stars. My guess is once 1-2 of the best players make a move the rest will follow. |
🤣😆😂😅 |
Vegas? Did you mean Laughlin or Reno? I hope the 28 parents are reading this! Hubris = bad Kharma |
| Well, sorry your daughter didn’t make Cap Blue. Vegas odds weren’t in her favor. Four 2027s from Stars made Csp Blue. And a good number made Csp orange. |
What does this have to do with the 28 parents? It’s a fact that the 27 and 28 Stars teams are some of the weakest teams the club has had, nothing more or less |
Weren’t 2 or 3 of those girls on Pride the year before? So really only 2 girls that stars developed from the beginning made blue. That is more Karma than whatever you were posting about. |
| 7 Stars LB made it to Cap Blue, 2 were new this year, only one from Pride. I also saw them referred to as backups on this same thread. |
| Exactly the point. Many Stars girls are not strong players but by virtue of playing for Stars made the team. How could 7 Stars make Blue and only 5 Pride if Pride is the much better team? Probably more Stars than Pride on Orange too. Moral of the story, get your kids into Stars in middle school if the goal is to play for Capital. |
But if the goal is to actually get them to be good then… |
