14 out at the Central Office. |
Are you coming to a point? If they didn't take the bus driving job, they also don't get to deposit the $22/hour. |
Summit Hall looks pretty red for an ES in 2 day |
| I read Julius West MS as the worst off in the whole district. Is that right? |
Not by percentage, no |
| Yesterday's numbers look VERY suspicious. Schools that were posting numbers in the 20s on Monday are suddenly reporting a single case? Impossible. |
Are you suspicious in that you think somebody is intentionally not including the accurate numbers? Or are you suspicious b/c the results submitted by students/parents/teachers may not reflect actual case because of inconsistent testing/reporting and inaccurate tests? If it is the later, I agree with you. If it is the former, that conspiracy theory is silly. |
If they posted high numbers on Tuesday and low on Wed, that’s probably because rapid tests were distributed on Monday. |
|
Our ES is not on here.
There is *no* data quality here. |
I agree that the jump in number on Tues. is probably die to people testing the night before with the rapid tests that were just distributed, but it raises the issue about the inadequacy of the one time rapid test distribution. If the entire school was testing once a week or once every three days, would you always be catching pops of big numbers like that due to the community spread outside of school. |
Do you know for sure that positives were reported in the last 24h? Because they don’t seem to list schools with zero cases reported. |
I would be completely *shocked* if we don't have any new positives. We are well into the red. We are in Clarksburg; housing is dense and our middle school was one of the 11 in quarantine. And our quarantined middle school continues to report cases daily. However, a lot of parents are proactively pulling their ES kids from class (maybe 25%) so I suppose the likelihood is not zero that there are no new positive cases. It's just very very low. Who knows really...I can't really trust this data without knowing a) how many new cases 2) how many currently positive 3) how many cases have rolled off the 14 day window. |
C) Incompetence. Our school has a principal that could not forward plan their way out of L1 of Mario Brothers, let alone a pandemic. I think the principal flat-out did not report and the system was too overloaded to go chasing down figures. |
I'm not sure "Central Office" is just Central Office, though I'm not exactly sure what other programs it might cover. On the Jan 10 sheet, for example, it's listed as "Central Office/Other." https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/uploadedFiles/Coronavirus/dashboaird/January%2010%20Daily%20Data.pdf Don't know what other staff, if any, that might include. Probably not bus drivers? But maybe something like that? |
"Other" is now a separate entry (in the Jan 12 sheet). So it appears the 14 is just from Central Office. |
