It seems that they prefer everyone to be ignorant. It’s a very anti-education stance in defense of a school district.

Counts for the 18th and 19th have been posted. There was definitely a weekend reporting lull, at least for the schools I'm following. Numbers aren't going down quite as quickly as I'd hoped.
Anonymous
Of course there is a lag due to the weekend, but over 2500 on the report for the 11th, to 993 on the 14th before the weekend, to 588 today the 19th.

And 701 from yesterday. It's good that it's tracking down, but I also wonder how much of this is a result of tests being sent home and used last week.

It's really hard to tell. I take comfort in the fact that numbers have trended down in other places. I think it's horrific how many Americans have decided they don't care. If we aren't counting Russia, I'm not sure which other countries have so many people in them who don't give a damn as the US. All you have to do is look at our deaths per capita and wonder.

Or staff out with covid.

No numbers today, nor Friday, nor over the weekend? I've been glad to see them much lower at our school, which had close to the highest positivity rate in the county, but I'd... like to keep seeing them? Especially as there was PCR testing last Thursday.
