Do you think there is a perfect height ratio between men and women?

How tall are you, and how tall is your partner/spouse? Do you think it is an optimal height ratio?

I'm a female on the shorter side (5 foot 3) and find myself mostly attracted to taller men (6 feet +)

Yes. I think 5'5 on a woman and 6'3 on a guy is ideal.

So I guess that's about a ten inch difference in height.

I'm 5'10 he's 6'5. I enjoy it but don't think there is any perfect ratio.

No, that would be stupid. There's much more to relationships and attraction than height.

Unless you're vapid. Which you must be to start this thread, OP.

I'm 5'7 and my boyfriend is 2 or 3 inches taller than me. Works for me. I wouldn't mind a few more inches, but don't need it.

6'2 and I'm 5'1. Love it. lol.

I will admit that my ex and I looked better ratio wise- 5'10 and 5'1. Very short guys don't want to date women my height. If a guy is 5'5, he wants a girl at least that tall (or so they've told me).

I'm 5'5. Most men in my family are over 6 feet so I grew up with that as the masculine ideal. Married a guy who was 5'7 but said he was 2 inches taller. It never felt right. I like wearing heels. Fiancé is 6'1.

Any woman who admits to me that she cares about height is a deal-breaker for me. I'm 5'11" so it's not an issue for me on a personal level, but it usually signals both a lack of intelligence and boringly conventional thinking. The sort of thing a woman who'd wear pearls and J Crew would think.

Height is a silly criteria for a relationship.

It must have stung when that pearl wearing J. Crew clad girl said you were an inch too short for her to date.

5'11 isn't tall. I know plenty of women who would reject you for that.

Or for your stank attitude...

I don't care about a guy's height unless he does. I like a guy who is confident and happy with who he is. In my experience, though, short guys often have a chip on their shoulders.

I'm 5'5 and have dated someone as short as 5'2". My ideal is about 5'10" - 6"

As long as you don't care about her weight, fine.

5'5" and I always dated taller guys. I don't think I ever went out with (or was asked out by) a shorter guy. I think the shortest guy was around 5'6" and the tallest around 6'4". My first long term boyfriend was 5'8" or 5'9" (don't remember) and I always felt awkward wearing heels with him. My husband is 6' which works nicely.

I think about a 5-6 inch height difference is ideal. Doesn't matter the actual heights. I'm 5'7, DH is 5'11. sometimes I wish he made me feel a little smaller
