FYI- Amazon is hiring 250k workers this holiday season, up from 100k. That alone dwarfs Citibank (which has 240k workers in total). Hiring is booming….see recent job numbers!

+1 Anyone citing individual companies that downsize is uninformed. When the economy “adds a million jobs” it is usually the net gain of about 7 million new jobs at companies expanding minus about 6 million jobs lost at companies downsizing or closing. Even when the economy is booming, some companies lose out, their contracts end, branches are closed, etc. It is fundamental to capitalism that market competition has winners and losers.

Subsidizing battery and electric vehicle makers with tax payer dollars because their products would not sell without subsidies does not count.

Seriously, use the google machine. The IRA and CHIP acts have incentivised business to bring manufacurting jobs back the US and particularly in the tech and solar/solar battery sectors. 800,000 solid blue collar but high skill jobs.

Most goods and services have increased in price. And, they continue to increase. Biden is trying really hard to ignore this pesky fact.

Remember when this administration tweeted about saving money on the 4th of July cook out and was mocked for it?
