Bethune opening second campus

Just got a letter stating that Bethune will be opening a second campus this fall (sy 15-16) at 16th & Kennedy NW. PK3, PK4,& K this year.

| Can they do that? Are they reopening their lottery? Did they even fill their PK3 slots this year? |

It is on a good commuter route... Bethune doesn't even seem like a step up relative to Brightwood. |

| They advertised September 30th but I know of at least two late fall PK3 birthdays admitted. |

| A daycare was once housed in that building and closed due mismanagement. |

| A daycare is leading space there now as their building is undergoing renovations. I'm not sure how many classrooms they will have but some rooms are not big enough for a Prek class of 20 some kids. |

Me neither. Frankly we were pretty high up on the waitlist and never heard either way. |
