People keep making this claim, that he was filled. Where is this coming from? All of the clips that I have seen of him uttering “hate filled” comments are obviously taken way out of context when you watch the full videos that the clips they were taken from.

What context will make these quotes not hateful, racist?

If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, boy, I hope he’s qualified.
– The Charlie Kirk Show, 23 January 2024

If I’m dealing with somebody in customer service who’s a moronic Black woman, I wonder is she there because of her excellence, or is she there because of affirmative action?
– The Charlie Kirk Show, 3 January 2024

I think it’s worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the second amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational.
– Event organized by TPUSA Faith, the religious arm of Kirk’s conservative group Turning Point USA, on 5 April 2023

America was at its peak when we halted immigration for 40 years and we dropped our foreign-born percentage to its lowest level ever. We should be unafraid to do that.

I came across a news story titled, “Stephen King Apologizes for Claiming Charlie Kirk ‘Advocated Stoning Gays’: ‘This Is What I Get for Reading X Without Fact-Checking.’” (https://variety.com/2025/tv/news/stephen-king-apologizes-charlie-kirk-stoning-gays-1236516429/)

It made me wonder: how many of the extreme, hateful claims attributed to Kirk are actually false? And how much did these falsehoods contribute to the climate that led to his assassination? He was compared to a Nazi, an accusation that, if widely accepted, would make his death something to be celebrated by many. But was that comparison fair?

Before he was assassinated, I had never even heard of him. Afterward, I read an article compiling his most well-known quotes (listed below). They were definitely conservative, but none struck me as Nazi-like. From what I saw, he was simply an American with right-leaning views, open to debate like anyone else in a democratic society.

Well-known Quotes of Charlie Kirk:
“Our founders did not establish this nation and shed their blood to see it become the world’s greatest debtor nation.”

“It is the responsibility of the individual to protect their own freedom and secure their own happiness.”

“Freedom is not about doing what feels good; it’s about doing what’s right.”

“The government does not create wealth, it simply redistributes it.”

“America is not perfect, but it is the greatest nation in the history of the world.”

“Capitalism is not a system that guarantees equal outcomes, but it is a system that guarantees equal opportunity.”

“Conservatism is not about status quo; it’s about returning to the principles that have stood the test of time.”

“The government’s job is not to make us equal, but to give us all equal rights.”

“Education should focus on teaching students how to think, not what to think.”

“Liberals believe in the power of government, conservatives believe in the power of the individual.”

“The left loves diversity of thought as long as everyone agrees with them.”

“The greatest threat to freedom is the temptation to trade it for security.”

“The government should be limited, not the dreams and ambitions of its citizens.”

“Success is not about who you know, it’s about what you know and what you do with it.”

“Patriotism is not about blind loyalty, but about recognizing the greatness and potential of your country.”

“Liberty is not a gift from government, it is a right bestowed upon us by our Creator.”

“The culture war is not about right vs. left, it’s about right vs. wrong.”

“Freedom is not free; it must be fought for and defended.”

“Big government is not the solution; it’s the problem.”

“Self-reliance is the fuel of success; dependency is the road to mediocrity.”

“The American Dream is not a guarantee, it’s an opportunity.”

“We are not entitled to anything; we must earn what we want in life.”

“Conservatism is not about hating change; it’s about preserving what is good and proven.”

“The principles that made America great are timeless; they are not bound by time, culture, or political correctness.”

“Progressivism is not about progress; it’s about control.”

“Liberty is not just a word, it’s a way of life.”

“The pursuit of happiness is not about material possessions, but about finding meaning and purpose in life.”

“Capitalism is not perfect, but it is the best economic system ever created.”

“The left wants to create equality of outcome, while the right seeks to create equality of opportunity.”

“The greatness of our nation lies in the power and potential of its individuals.”

Good attempt at concern trolling/whitewashing, but it's pretty transparent.

His comments about the economy and capitalism belie little understanding of the subjects.

One thing he did stand for was free speech.

His raison d’etre was shutting up college professors he didn’t like. That’s where everything else came from.

He was only in favor of free speech for his diatribes.

This.

I have no problem with the guy being unabashedly right wing. I disagree with his political point of view, but his method was to whip up his followers and unleash them against people he disagreed with. Very vile behavior.

Free speech advocate had a side quest punishing others professionally for their own free speech. His followers are continuing after his death by doxing and people who are not properly mourning and contacting their employers.

I think that this is all very good an accurate analysis about this hostile and strange virtual world that this generation grew up in. His analysis is important and seems right on - except for his premise. He says: TR is not alt-right or extreme left, but then goes on to describe the internet ecosystem where every single influence is an individual or group that is extreme right wing. So while he may be correct that the shooter's motivations are not be exactly political in a way that most adults can understand, the world that shaped the shooter was. And it was most definitively alt-right!

These GenX gamer types hate the right.

GenZ not Gen X.

Absolutely not. That was probably true of Millennials when they were younger in the early-mid 2000s, but it’s not at all true these days. Old Gen Z and Zillennials (basically those born in the mid to late 90s) skew pretty liberal, but mid range and younger Gen Z are heavily influenced by right wing propaganda. Especially the boys/young men.

The alt right and gamer culture both grew out of forums that had/still have a focus on gaming and anime, as well as the GamerGate controversy of 2014-2015 that immediately preceded Trump’s first election in 2016.

Which specific Democrats are celebrating? Nobody I know is even talking about this.

The ones I have seen celebrating on social media are teachers and professors- people who have no business educating our youth. Some have lost their jobs as a result of their callous posts.

+1.

Kirk ran watch lists for his fans to harass school board members and professors. Free speech advocates my $ss.

My tiktok algorithm is now pretty much all gamers and discord people. They are talking about this inside language/memes and how it is all a "you had to be there thing" that people are never going to truly understand. And yes it started with GamerGate.

Who is their financial backer anyway ? I'm surprised left leaning sleuths haven't explored this route . A community college drop out doesn't get funding for his hate-filled factory out of thin air .

It has been explored. It just hasn't garnered much attention. The old saying that every conservative accusation is a confession applies here in spades. Unfortunately, the American media and ideological landscape is so coded towards conservative wealth and bootstraps philosophy that it barely raises an eyebrow when it turns out that conservative wealth wholly fuels all of these people.

But… but… my leftist college taught me to only apply one lense- social justice! - when looking at something, take whatever quotes I want out of context, apply them however I want, and always apply a revisionist social justice approach.
A+ from the professor and Hs teacher!

I’m bringing this article from page 297 up to here. This is a really important and good article about the online radicalization going on - primarily aimed at young men.

It is very clear this is the world that the killer lived in. His bright future somehow got derailed that first semester at college, he retreated into the online world and was increasingly isolated from society. The Fuentes/ Loomer world gave him some kind of validation that the loneliness he faced wasn’t his fault and a place he could channel his anger.

I also fear that although it is very clear this is what happened, that the Trump administration/ FBU is going to do all that it can to squelch this story. I wouldn’t put it past them to do a plea deal where if he pleads guilty and claims he was on the left that he can avoid the death penalty. It’s like Jan 6. At first most Republicans were also horrified by it. But then they came up with some talking points that enabled them all to shift the blame and not take responsibility.

So look carefully at what Trump and Patel say. This is a right on right issue that needs to be addressed. Don’t let them blame and vilify the Democrats for their radicalization issue.

And yes, make sure you are talking to your sons. There are a lot of them holed up in their game rooms in dialogue on discord and 4chan about a lot of these vile views.

Nope, drop your trope. It’s been proven false.

Wrong. It has NOT been "proven false" - but here you are falsely claiming it has, in disingenuous desperation to try and deflect attention away from the massive and very real alt-right radicalization problem we have afflicting young white males in America.

Lead investigator and Utah governor address this Friday.

Not because DCUM has its usual conspiracy theories and believes the whole country is the same, but because they’ve interviewed Tyler’s current roommate, family, socials/computer and him himself.

If they had left-wing evidence, they'd be out there on the front page with it.

They’re in court Tuesday, why shoot their wad with losers like you.

There are going to be so many maga tears that I’m going to buy a boat.

At a 1 minute arraignment?

Glad we have all these wannabe private investigators here in DCUM. They sure know how to apply themselves.

EXCLUSIVE: Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson lived with his transgender partner, sources tell me.

The individual, who is a male transitioning to a female, is fully cooperating with the FBI.

Sources tell me the FBI had texts and other communications between Robinson and the individual that helped FBI authorities solidify that Robinson was indeed the shooter.

Yeah right.
