Fairfax County Double Murder

Question: prior to sentencing in the case of a plea deal, can a judge allow "impact statements" and then take those into account in determining the sentence? Apparently JR's family is okay with the current offer (and I have to business questioning that) but I'm thinking maybe the child's maternal grandparents who will hopefully be the child's legal guardians by that time will have the opportunity in court to present the unfathomable impact this has had and will continue to have on the child. Thank you.

I am sure CB’s family has been involved and in loop every step of the way and probably relxuctantly agreed. Can’t imagine prosecutors would proceed with this plea without their blessing.

Wasn’t her dad law enforcement?

Idk. The commonwealth didn’t go through the effort of seizing a device that likely had attorney client privilege flippantly.

God I hope so as well. It's incomprehensible what utter terror CB must have endured in the last minutes of her life. A strange man holding you at knifepoint, tearing off your clothes, then your husband shooting the stranger and then stabbing you. I pray BB descends into madness at Red Onion having only his memories and demons to claw at his conscious.

I hope that Joe's family and friends write these - Juliana is the one who killed Joe and it's not fair for her to serve only a year and a half for this.

Watching the video, I can't believe there wasn't even a door to the basement. They just stuck the little girl down there watching TV? What if she had wanted a snack and came upstairs in the middle of everything? What complete disgusting POS idiots.

Not that it really changes the situation much. But reports are there was a child barrier there. I picture one of those child gates.

The part that grabbed me about the video is the officer relaying to one of the paramedics that one of the victims was still breathing. The child was within earshot when that was said.

Not disparaging the officer. He said that to get the paramedic to hustle up. The paramedic was hustling.

If you watch this longer video the basement door is clearly visible. They then put the baby gate down the steps a bit. Psychos either way.

You are making an assumption. My husband could definitely hold me down without assistance.

Yep. IMO far more likely that bb was straddling cb pinning her hands down with his knees.

Hold you down with 2 hands AND stab you repeatedly too? Four hands makes more sense.

You can pin someone without hands.

JPM could have helped with her free hands but has no reason to admit it, so no one will ever really know.

Can someone give me the rundown on how BB's mother is involved? Someone said that SHE should be arrested?

I agree. CB was very petite, barely 5 feet tall. BB is about 6 feet.

My bf could easily pin me down with his bodyweight alone and have at least 1 hand free to do whatever with.

do tell!
