Maybe they are awaiting autopsy results to confirm what actually caused the man's death? We are assuming that the cop kneeling on his neck killed the guy but if it turned out to be a heart attack, stroke or OD...what then? |
Not at all. |
Really? How many times have you conducted internal reviews of law enforcement incidents, keyboard warrior? What you get your hands on via social media is not representative of what police officers do on a daily basis.Do you understand how the media works? |
A man died. Did you watch the video? |
The D mayor did say this, lazy MFer. Try to keep up. |
Then they release the cop. Turn the tables... what would be happening? |
He coincidentally had a stroke at the very moment a police officer had his knee on his throat? GMAFB. I’m sure they are in negotiation with the police union right now. If they arrest maybe that Trump police union guy is threatening to have them all go on strike. |
Your conspiracy theory is rich. Stop deflecting from the facts. |
Dial 911 they’ll say cops on the scene. |
The fact is they haven’t made any arrests yet. https://news.yahoo.com/police-chiefs-condemn-george-floyd-killing-death-knee-minneapolis-officer-203423522.html A dissent from the general condemnation was voiced by Lt. Bob Kroll, president of the Police Officers Federation of Minneapolis, who said, “Now is not the time to rush to judgment and immediately condemn our officers. “We ask that the community remain calm and the investigation be completed in full,” Kroll added. But police officials elsewhere said they had seen enough. “There is no need to see more video. There is no need to wait to see how ‘it plays out,’” Chattanooga, Tenn., Police Chief David Roddy tweeted. “There is no need to put a knee on someone’s neck for NINE minutes. There IS a need to DO something. If you wear a badge and you don’t have an issue with this ... turn it in.” Kroll is the racist Trump supporter heading up the police union. |
You ask for an ambulance. Duh! Instead they stood by and watched a man DIE! |
You want people to be thrown in jail for murder before a murder has even been confirmed? Obviously, they did an investigation quickly enough to warrant their firings. Now they are building the criminal case. But you can't criminally charge a person with murder until you know for a fact that the guy was murdered. Justice doesn't work that fast. That's the way lynch mobs work. Give the system a chance to work before you flip out and burn down your whole danged town. |
Let's do an experiment. Why don't we have a grown man sit with his knee on your neck for 10 minutes, and see what happens, huh? |
|
When I see a person gasping for air - I'm getting an ambulance - and I don't give a sh*t what color he is!!
Those bystanders have blood on theirs hands. |
This is awful and inexcusable. Those individual police officers responsible AND those who stood by and did/said nothing to prevent this as it was happening should be held accountable and charged with murder. Period. I won't, however, use this as a reason to generalize and condemn all police officers. Just like i won't condemn muslims or saudi arabians for the 911 attacks or condemn all white Christians for the Oklahoma City bombing. That literally makes no sense. There are bad cops. There just are. The solution is not to turn against police as a profession...but to hold them accountable for rooting out the evil within. I expect Christian ministers to condemn acts of terror committed "in the name of Jesus" as evil and wrong. I expect muslim imams to likewise condemn acts of evil committed by self-proclaimed followers of Allah. And I expect police officers EVERYWHERE to say "this is NOT who we are and these men should be charged and tried for murder." Don't let them hide behind the badge. |
