Wow. I’m feeling very conflicted right now. Everything I thought was true is being questioned. But still, they are rich now so would have some good candidates for immigration to the US. We don’t need more poor people.

DP... did you work hard like that guy and rise above his poor background? Did you serve your country? This guy is literally the epitome of the American dream and the opposite of everything Trump -- giving his life to his adopted country and working hard to get out of poverty. So many Americans, white, black, etc... have done this in the past, and all you can say about him is "a sympathetic immigrant"? I don't have sympathy for him. I have admiration and gratitude for him and am in awe of him, but not for Trump.

You've got it backward; it's Trump who refused to engage in policy ... and you too. Trump didn't say he wants to limit Haitian (or African or Norwegian) immigration to only those who are hardworking and smart. He said he wants immigrants from Norway, and none from Haiti or African countries. "Norwegian" is not synonymous with "hardworking and smart."
