Big Little Lies HBO

Celeste b/c of the abuse. Jane b/c she recognizes him as the rapist. Madeline because she finds out about the abuse and the rape and wants to avenge her friends. Renata because she finds out the twins (or one of them) is abusing Amabella b/c of what he sees at home. I can't think of why Bonnie would be involved, so maybe not her. Anyway this would be why the victim was described as having "multiple injuries."

If so I hope Celeste uses her mad lawyer skillz to get them all acquitted.

Like.

Obviously Bonnie kills him because he doesn't wear natural fibers. Also, the coffee shop guy is involved, because, of course.

I thought Bonnie kills him because he eats cookie crisp cereal by the boxful.

It was a joke.

In his defense, Perry was last seen drinking Kambucha and not eating potato chips. He's in good shape. Otherwise, he's all pig.

I wanted to see Celeste make an escape. But we know from the opening scenes that she at least gets dressed for the auction night.

I haven't read all the comments here but I'm watching now (having read the book before). I think Nicole Kidman is great for he part. She may be almost 50 in real life but I certainly don't know a real 50 year old that looks like her. She is gorgeous! Maybe her face doesn't move as much as it use to but she is beautiful!

And those houses they live in. That's how I want to live (well minus the abuse, etc)

The scenery, the houses, the wardrobes, the casting, acting, writing, directing, soundtrack, all top notch.

Why did I assume based on the first epi that Madeline was killed?

We don't know who was killed -- it might be Madeline.

You probably assumed it was Madeline in the first episode because she was the bitchiest character in that episode. There's no reason to assume she's not the victim, but we now have several more possible targets.
