Was it a FSIQ of 147? If so, it is surprising your child did not get in even with GBRS of 8. I would make sure you have work samples and a strong parent letter for the appeal to combat the GBRS of 8.

yes, FSIQ=147 with all subset scores in 147's range excpet for processing speed which is in 135. GBRS=8
I am writting a parent letter, but what kind of work samples would you recommand? the doctor who performed the WISC was also shocked with the result and suggested SB test to back up the WISC. any other suggestions? thanks! |
How long did it take to get the results? |
| If the AART at your school is responsive, I would ask him/her to pull your child to create work samples. The work samples will carry more weight if they are produced at school. |
about a week. |

WISC: FSIQ 157
GBRS: 15 NNAT: 160 CogAT: 154 |

GBRS : 13 FSCI :123 VC:114 WM:123 PR:117 PS:121 |

WISC 146
SB 132 GBRS =8 What are the chances on appeal? |
This should be in on appeal based on the last year's results! good luck. |
These are scores for someone that had to appeal?? |
I think someone is trying to pull our leg. |
That is a huge discrepancy between the two IQ tests. |
Why was the doctor shocked? |
| The Stanford Binet is usually lower, so it is not surprising. |
