How are criminal background checks and health screenings conducted and verified? Do we access to another country's criminal and health data?

News show the undocumented marching into the US. They weren't being sneaky at all. Why bother when the Biden administration had the fencing that TX put up lifted by the US border patrol to make it easier for them and leaves the gates wide open. That is correct. Illegal immigration doesn’t follow the law (Immigration laws); that is why it’s considered illegal. Without proper vetting through our consulates abroad, through our open boarders under the Biden administration, anyone can get in, including those with mental disorders, criminal and violent backgrounds, or carrying transmittable pathogens (bacteria, virus, fungus, parasites, etc.), and they insert themselves directly among the general population. There is no screening of any sort.

Instead, that comes out of the already overstretched taxpayers in Fairfax to pay for schools, free food, and free health care. During the past four years, illegal immigrants were even lodged in hotels, given substantial amounts of cash, and transported around the country by plane and buses, all at the taxpayer expense.

On the other hand, thankfully, our country welcomes immigrants with open arms, and most sympathize with those who entered the country illegally so long they obey our laws and make an effort to assimilate while they seek to legalize their status in the country. Most of them have done exactly that for many years, and although unable to vote in elections given their status, they don’t seek welfare, they pay taxes, obey the law, and raise their kids with good values. The issue here - still on topic- is with Fairfax acting as a Sanctuary city to protect those who commit violent crimes (rape and murder, e.g.) because they were already unwanted criminals who entered our vulnerable open borders under the Biden Administration. We refuse to have these type of sociopaths going through the revolving doors of the legal system recently created by the progressive Dems in Fairfax, just because they want to turn our county into another California.

Lastly, most of us want to protect our loved ones from their violent crimes - which would include the fentanyl crisis brought to us by cartels operating even from inside our schools. We also are concerned about the security of our nation because foreign agents from enemy countries have infiltrated our borders and are here just waiting for marching orders. Not to mention, not everyone has been blessed with a generous bank account to cover for our ever increasing property taxes and insurance premiums, also used to cover for turning Fairfax into a Sanctuary City. I respect your right to continue voting blue, even under these circumstances, because that is what a democratic system stands for, and we should never loose that. The problem arises when one party drives a nation into anarchy.

Name me one President who INTENTIONALLY opened our borders to allow unvetted and illegal flow of immigrants who are here just or game the system; terrorists; criminals; drug cartels; human traffickers; and victims of human trafficking- PARTICULARLY CHILDREN! Sticking to topic: I was stating with my "Blue outlook" on the narrow scope of sanctuary city that those rights should still be maintained in response to a post that stated to opposite. And that's the reason I leaned Blue.

Sticking to topic: Virginia is NOT a sanctuary state, yet the Dems in Fairfax -backed with funds from donors from outside of our state, particularly California- have made it one. That money is used only to elect and maintain progressive candidates in the Democrat ticket, and not one cent goes towards financing the Biden’s Administration open borders policies. Instead, that comes out of the already overstretched taxpayers in Fairfax to pay for schools, free food, and free health care. During the past four years, illegal immigrants were even lodged in hotels, given substantial amounts of cash, and transported around the country by plane and buses, all at the taxpayer expense.

On the other hand, thankfully, our country welcomes immigrants with open arms, and most sympathize with those who entered the country illegally so long they obey our laws and make an effort to assimilate while they seek to legalize their status in the country. Most of them have done exactly that for many years, and although unable to vote in elections given their status, they don’t seek welfare, they pay taxes, obey the law, and raise their kids with good values. The issue here - still on topic- is with Fairfax acting as a Sanctuary city to protect those who commit violent crimes (rape and murder, e.g.) because they were already unwanted criminals who entered our vulnerable open borders under the Biden Administration. We refuse to have these type of sociopaths going through the revolving doors of the legal system recently created by the progressive Dems in Fairfax, just because they want to turn our county into another California.

Lastly, most of us want to protect our loved ones from their violent crimes - which would include the fentanyl crisis brought to us by cartels operating even from inside our schools. We also are concerned about the security of our nation because foreign agents from enemy countries have infiltrated our borders and are here just waiting for marching orders. Not to mention, not everyone has been blessed with a generous bank account to cover for our ever increasing property taxes and insurance premiums, also used to cover for turning Fairfax into a Sanctuary City. I respect your right to continue voting blue, even under these circumstances, because that is what a democratic system stands for, and we should never loose that. The problem arises when one party drives a nation into anarchy.

Sanctuary means protecting illegals so they can report violent crimes that are inflicted on them; Every other cost you mentioned is everywhere in the US not just Fairfax. And as I said previously its not because of Democrats - the problem goes back more than a 100years. You really think - Biden caused this? Regan never faced it? Wilson faced it during WW1. Do you have anything new besides what's been said already? How other Presidents dealt with it? Any success? Any Lessons learned? Regan went with Amnesty - did it work? Obama(and Clinton) went with the largest deportation in American history - did that work? Looks like the names should be reversed right? And Regan the great Republican went with Amnesty. BBC article on why so many Indians are crossing into the US illegally. The article points out that Indian immigrants are the third largest group coming into the US with 170,000 detained since 2020. Most come in through the Canadian border, which is less protected and with fewer criminal groups. The Indian population heads to the big cities to find jobs in there and not into rural communities.

I figured I would post on a non-Hispanic population that has a high number of people attempting to cross into the US illegally. The article discusses the economic reasons, economic hardship, and a fear of a potential conflict in India. Most of the people coming to the US from India have completed HS and are looking for better jobs in the US then they can find in India.

Equally problematic--just ask folks in tech where fraudulent Indian degrees are rampat.
