There are way more now. |

You don't see a group of firefighters standing outside of burning building watching it burn down. They fight like hell even if that building is empty. They risked their own lives, saving people, even when they know that there's no hope. We need police reform in this nation. The only reason police unions keep backing Republicans is because they never question and just keep throwing more money at them.
I love civil servants and police forces but they need to be held accountable to do their jobs to do them well and to do them for every person in this nation, not just the whites. |
It doesn't matter how recent it is or not. It's important to voters in places like Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, and the Dakotas. So just in those states alone far fewer than 10 million people will always have ten senators who do NOTHING to push for gun control. |
Wow... it's almost as if once the assault weapons ban was ended... and assault weapons became easily available again... that -- shazam! -- mass shootings increased!
Oh well, guess that's just "the American Way"!
The 10-year ban on assault weapons was passed by the US Congress on August 25, 1994 and was signed into law by US President Bill Clinton on September 13, 1994. The ban applied only to weapons manufactured after the date of the ban's enactment. It expired on September 13, 2004, in accordance with its sunset provision. |
| South Dakota had two Democratic senators up until the 2000s. |
Evil manages to not find a way in countries that have meaningfully banned guns. Get your head out of the sand. |
|
Democrats need a focus more money on locally elections in typically red states.
I don't think people realize how much more important state legislatures and governorships will be going forward considering this scotus thinks the state should handle a lot of the big issues that are important to us |
I would like to ask the senators why they think America has so many more shootings than all other countries combined. And why keeping our children safe is a political issue to them |
It took him at least 12 minutes to get inside the building. He shot at people outside too. The police station is 1.5 miles away. The 911 calls started within 2 minutes of the crash. A patrol car drove past him. Only two things could have prevented this. Banning AR-15s or having uncowardly cops. Lower capacity magazines and ammo purchase limits would have helped reduce the death toll. |
They need to stop enabling murders. They are encouraging mass shootings. |
One of the little girls called 911 multiple times and BEGGED for the police to help. How could they just...stand there? Those children didn't all die instantly, obviously, since reports are that the child who repeatedly dialed 911 died. It breaks my heart to think of how many of those kids may have bled out waiting on help that was literally right on the other side of a classroom door. How can they live with themselves??? |
We want to get those laws back ASAP. Everyone wants them except the stupid NRA and the gun industry where it gets its blood money . |
I heard that report as I was driving home from work today and I literally had to pull over. I felt so nauseous thinking about that. Poor little girl and how it could be my daughter that the cops just left to die.... I don't understand how anyone could do that |
THEY. DON'T. CARE. They just want to stay in office. That's it. |
Seems that they were afraid of the guns and ammo in that room. We need to get rid of those guns and that ammo. (And if law enforcement is not for you, find another job...that is fine.) |
