Savannah Guthrie’s mom is missing, suspect kidnapping

I’m not sure if you’re listening to actual news about it or just hanging out on X, but it was reported in those first minutes/hour they were looking around the property thinking she had some medical emergency. They were also calling friends, hospitals,, Etc. (there’s digital evidence to support). There was no reason for them to think she had been abducted! You’re trying to make something out of nothing

You think you would but you wouldn't... if your mom was not in her home and there was a little blood but not a pool, you'd think she bled and did not see that it dripped on the floor.

I'd assume she was at a neighbors or on a walk. I would NOT call 911 at first. i'd check the house, with neighbors, call my sibling to see if they talked.... then I would call 911.

Or if the porch lights were not on and they didn't notice the blood until later?

Waiting only an hour to call 911 makes me suspect maybe she had a history of getting confused and wandering away from home. It does not make me assume they freaking murdered or kidnapped her. And why do we assume they even saw the blood at that specific entrance?

It’s heart medication. That’s an estimate. You can very much live longer than that, but your well-being would be very impacted. Other organs will start to be impacted.

It wasn’t heart medicine - it’s insulin and an epi-pen being reported.

84 years old, has a pacemaker, needs insulin and blood pressure meds, uses a cane to walk, and unable to walk any significant distance without assistance. She is quite vulnerable. Very sad situation.

She knows him so could identify him. He killed her and dumped the body.

Implications are that it’s more than one person. So no, I don’t think your theory is correct.

My grandparents used to live in AZ, and I was always shocked at how much really wild nature was a lot closer to their house. I know we live with deer, fox, etc close by in the dmv, but this was different. They had multiple cases of animal carcasses in their yard, on their patio, etc. They would not have been the least phased initially by some droplets of blood outside, if that was the only place this was. Also, when I visit my relatives house, I always enter through the side door. It could have been after they called that they even saw this.

She was close with her mom. This was not her fault. Elderly parents are free agents. Check the Eldercare board and you will see many of us have elders who want to age in place. Check yourself.

You’re projecting because you have a guilty conscience

Do you understand you cannot force your elderly parent to move when they are of sound mind. Look into the legality before you post.

Of sound mind but can't walk 50 yds alone?

You are disruptive to the posts about this missing woman. Deal with your personal issues.

Deal with your own personal issues so you can understand the impact of limited mobility on a person in their 80s, regardless of sound mind and good cognitive functioning.

Then a failure to launch male and his druggie friend.

Link? Or are you just reporting your opinion.

"Jealous" sister and husband? What are they jealous of?

Well, with this much attention on this case I have no doubt we'll all know what happened fairly soon.

My mom in AZ has that same style steel door on th front. It is really hard to get through. If it were closed, I would not be thinking breakin. (I don’t think I’ve seen it in the news but my guess is a back sliding patio door was forced. My parents have a lock bar on theirs but most people don’t.). If I saw drops of blood on pathway, I’d assume coyote rabbit situation, not stranger danger abduction of a nana.

I guess if my mom was suddenly missing my first guess would be: 1) siblings picked them up for something and forgot to tell me or I forgot about it; 2) made plans with a friend to go somewhere and didn’t tell me; 3) had medical problem overnight and didn’t want to wake me so called for ambulance herself; 4) went out to water plants or because something blew over and fell on property. Stranger abduction would be very far down the list.

I think this is a likely scenario.
Remember when Savannah interviewed Trump and told him he was not someone’s crazy uncle
I also suspect ICE.
Just watch. Maga will take whatever happens and spin it into something caused by Democrats.

Or vice versa. I don't trust anyone anymore. Both sides lie.

The administration and their supporters have taken lying to a unprecedented level.

The other PP is gaslighting BoThSiDeS.

No, I simply don't live in an echo chamber. I have critical thinking skills and work to find truth instead of being gullible enough that I believe everything I hear in an echo chamber. You need to grow up and see that you are part of the problem.

Trump is a pathological liar. Anyone who can't see that clearly by now as some brain cells missing.

BoThSiDeS

The comment was:
“The administration and their supporters have taken lying to an unprecedented level.“

Which is 100% factual.

I sincerely hope they did not do this. That is even worse than a lunatic obsessed with Savannah or something. Geez.

I also hope they didn't do it. It would indeed explain why the public is not at risk.

Do you think Savannah would be staying at their home if she had been briefed by the FBI that her brother-in-law was a suspect? Get real.

This is a good point. I don’t think Savannah would be staying at the house if there was any likelihood of this. It also kind of does not make sense in terms of motive- why do this to your 84 year old mother in law? She did not have a ton of assets and with her age and health issues is (realistically) not going to be around for too may more years.
