Scott Walker on mandatory ultrasounds

"It's just a cool thing," he says. And he brags about defunding Planned Parenthood, all in one interview.

See? Uncle Scott knows better than you silly women. Once you have the picture from your required transvaginal ultrasound you'll change your mind about your abortion and save the ultrasound picture to show your grandchildren when you tell them all about the time you would've aborted their mother but didn't thanks to the benevolent Republican party.

I agree with him.

So do you wear gloves or mittens so your knuckles don't get scratched when you're dragging them along, or do you find yourself just tucking your hands in your pants for that extra creep factor?

Yet another male republican politician obsessed with being in control of what goes into, and comes out of, a woman's vagina. What's up with these guys and their vagina fixations?

Vagina envy, maybe?

Why because in any other major surgery you don't like to see X-rays, ct scans, etc. of your body to make an informed choice?

I like my dr to decide with me what I need to make an informed choice, not a legislature with a clear agenda. You okay if they mandate a hard yank on a prostrate exam?

Totally fine seeing how small and unviable a fetus is before I abort it, Ladies, we need to own our reality and stop allowing them to treat us like vessels.

No one forces you by law to look at your x-rays or scans. And neither x-rays or scans cause pain. Vaginal ultrasounds are very painful.

So you wouldn't mind if it was a regular ultrasound? True, no one forces you to look at an x-ray/ct scan, etc. but a good dr. Explains and shows you what's happening to your body before performing a procedure. Not doing so could even be considered negligent.

Since you're apparently so concerned about the quality of the doctor/patient relationship, what would you calls laws that either require medically unnecessary tests or that require doctors to read patients statements that include demonstrably false information?

How much rage did you see when the Philadelphia butcher killed women and babies during abortions, due to unsafe practices?
