Does anyone actually think they’re looking at charging BB‘s mother with anything for withholding evidence, trying to intimidate a witness, and trying to influence Juliana by both threatening and paying for her lawyers?

I’m wondering if you were connected to Joe because in no way is this victim blaming it’s just being said that had there been a safe word, could it have prevented this whole tragedy? I cannot imagine what Joe thought once he realized what was really happening. The terror, The deceit, etc.

The fact of the matter is, before he was trapped and murdered, he was simulating a rape which he thought was a consensual act. I hope those engaged in this kind of sexual experience will think through the safety precautions going forward. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with thinking about how this could have been prevented had there been safety protocols in place for all involved.

The fact of the matter is Brendan Banfield and his employee plotted to murder his wife, the mother of his child and set up abs innocent man to essentially restrain terrorize and possibly sexually assault her all before her HUSBAND shot the man and STABBED Christine to DEATH. Followed by the nanny the shooting this poor unsuspecting innocent man to death. Get it right.

I mean maybe that's the exact conversation they were having when BB burst in and murdered them both. Maybe he was like "hey wait are you ok with this? You sound different than the woman on the phone I'm going to stop and back away now, this is a misunderstanding" and that's when BB came in. You have no clue.

Because that is how a plea bargain works. What’s in it for her to plea? Usually for a defendant it is for a lesser charge/sentence vs gambling with what could happen with a jury.

She is in jail and has been for a year. She will remain there until after the husband’s trial. She isn’t being sentenced until AFTER that trial. When that trial is over, if she has met her requirements under the deal (which they are not disclosing so we won’t know what they are but I assume they include her being a state’s witness and testifying against him), then she will be sentenced. Apparently state would be asking for time served. But the judge has to accept that at that time and she/he isn’t required to accept that and may impose a sentence (that certainly has happened before in other cases). Whatever her sentence is, she will be deported immediately once it’s completed.

How do you know she will be deported? Which of course needs to happen and I'm hoping she gets additional jail time but I'm curious.

Because that is what they do with immigrants who have been convicted of a felony and finish serving their sentence.

Have you seen BB in the footage leaving the house with his hands full of blood and looking for JPM?

It drives me insane the type of people they are.

I was an au pair back in 2015. I’m still in touch with the family and I love my former host mom and kid deeply. I put myself in the shoes of the former au pair, which I know.

If this were to happen to my family, I would go after each and every media in Brazil to expose her ugly face so she’s well known in the whole country for the murderer she is. I really don’t care if people think she was “brainwashed” by BB. She is a murderer and should be treated as such.

Deportation shouldn’t be a way out for her to live free in her country like she hasn’t helped destroy 3 entire families, a woman who’s also traumatized bc she helped interview JPM (the former AP) + a baby girl who will most likely suffer from psychological damages for the rest of her life!

She should go to jail in Brazil. Overpopulated jails, where she would sleep on the ground, with cell mates that would teach her a lesson everyday. A cell that smell like public bathroom to match who she is, and be forgotten there for years. That’s what she deserves….

Don't people usually have a safe word for these sorts of encounters/ games? Maybe he assumed if she was truly scared she'd be using the safe word.

That is totally true, and she didn’t scream out cup cake, or the color yellow so he thought she was a great actress. There is no more room for victim blaming as it is unfair to those that lost both Joe, he was set up, and murdered in cold blood. He was asked to play a part, and then disposed as if his life meant nothing.

It's also interesting in the video how NEITHER BB nor JM are freaking out in concern for CB.

If I saw my spouse get stabbed and I thought they were near-death or possibly dead, I'd be crying and begging "please, please, please... don't let him die... please, ... etc."

Or if my friend (someone I work with everyday) was seriously hurt and I witnessed it, I'd be saying similar things... focused on wanting the injured person to be o.k. or just distraught that they might be dead.

How would a safe word have helped? CB wouldn’t have known it… She didn’t actually talk to JR. Maybe there was a safe word for all we know. Maybe JR saw she was terrified and checked, “Grover?” And CB, terrified for her life, was like “WTF are you talking about?”

Please keep in mind that JR did not actually hurt her in anyway. This could have been a ruse with a plumber for most purposes, the fetish angle was just so that they could falsely blame JR and people (like you) would believe it because (like you) they’d be so focused on the fetish aspect they’d forget people who have this kind of fetish don’t actually hurt people.
