It went the route of the Indian diplomat thread...there were a number of hateful and racist comments. It was not really a productive or civil discussion.

The "What do women find attractive in Black men" thread is also turning very racist and insulting.

There is reference to penis size of apes etc..and it is just very disturbing and horrible.

The values are not the same and neither are the looks. Hairy + hook nosed + flabby "skinny fat" body = no thank you, especially considering the bad attitudes too.

This thread will end up being deleted as well if posts like this continue. Maybe every south Asian that you have encountered is hairy, has a hook nose and a "skinny fat" body (whatever the hell that is). But, there are about a billion Indians and not all of them fit that description (and that doesn't even count the rest of the south Asians). Generalizations such as the above are insulting to more than just Indians and, frankly, piss me off.

When I last saw that thread it looked like there were a bunch of haters trying act superior by being derogatory towards Indians and they were turning that nastiness back onto you and your gross generalizations made you look worse. So who really ended up "butthurt"?

When a man criticizes a woman because of her looks it's usually false and it usually means that he is hurt. Maybe he tried to ask one out but was flat out rejected. In my experience as a friend of indian women, they strongly go with the wishes of who their parents would see as their ideal mate. To do so otherwise could cause them to be shunned. This depends as well on their religion since India is huge with many religions (buddhism started there) and the skin color ranges from very light to very dark due to intermixing in the past. Their strong values to abide by parents wishes and marry well to an indian engineer, doctor, etc who makes a lot of money makes the average white guy feel they don't measure up. There is of course a caste and class system in India and it's a custom that plays here in the US. East asians do share that value of discipline, taking STEM degrees (Washpost said that Virginia's TJ school of science and technology drew in more Asian students than ever), and just more competitive due to family upbringing same as south asians, but the east asian girls are more likely to accept to date white guys because of status, money, or looks.

Being a white American and having married a South Asian (Bangladeshi /born there) , I find that Indian women are arrogant and snobby in general. I do not find it or take it as an insult anymore because it is their general normal behavior and it comes as a shock after living in other part of the world where people are mostly soft spoken and are not blunt. It took me a while to get adjusted to the normal behavior which we perceive as abnormal. It's like a different planet over there! Their thinking is SO different. The caste system and the way they treat servants is disgusting . Perhaps with lots of TIME their mind-sets will change . Having a servant should not be a right.

To think that a muslim bangladeshi parent will allow their daughter to marry anyone out of their religion sounds improbable. I wonder why Indian women were arrogant and snobby to you? According to DCUM, they worship whiteness.

Every society has problems. Rich Indians have servants and rich people in US have "Help". In the past. Whites in America raped their black slaves and sold off their offsprings in slavery. Today, White police men shoot unarmed black people. Racial killings were so shocking to me when I came to this country.
