What's your controversial food opinion?

I agree. We love all kinds of different cultures food. It’s so odd to me when someone doesn’t like Chinese Thai middle eastern japanese etc korean

Anytime people rave about some certain frozen food item, I'll buy it... and it's always "meh" at best. Most recent example is the frozen lasagne by Rao's.

Frozen food just isn't good. Only frozen item that's good is my local bakery sells their pies frozen (but I believe it's the EXACT same pie they bake and sell, nothing additional added).

Cantaloupe tastes like rotten fruit

You've never eaten a proper cantaloupe if this is your real opinion. I wouldn't be surprised, as most cantaloupe you find anywhere is garbage. It has a short season and should never be eaten outside of season.

Yes. DH was like cantaloupe-disliking PP but I helped him see the light

The plural of danish is danish.

Yes I said it. Fight me.

I wouldn't say bland, but I do find them overly sweet. And they cost more! But I'm the only one in my house who is not a fan.

I find the Honeycrisp to be the only reliably crisp, sweet apple out there. The other Reds seem easily bruised and mealy-prone. I like to my Honeycrisp
sliced with a squeeze of lemon.

Honeycrisp are so pedestrian.

Those who know, eat/bake/wait for Staymens or Winesaps.

Isn’t birthday cake just the cake you have for your birthday? Like, my mom’s favorite cake is lemon cake so that’s what I make for her birthday. My DH’s favorite is date and walnut so that’s what I make for his birthday. Or do you mean that you hate all cake? Or all chocolate or vanilla cakes, since I guess those are the most commonly made cakes for birthdays

Frosting is gross. That sugar glaze many bakeries drizzle on pastries is gross. The hard corse sugar put on the tops of some cookies, pies and muffins is gross.

Mint chocolate chip is my favorite ice cream flavor. I also love junior mints.

btw, I think craft beer is the Emperors New Clothes of beer. Anyone who says beer is delicious is faking it.

those who know eat don't stick to one type
you start from Lodi - tart and not always crispy, but it does kick off apple season. Can't miss it.
then there is Pristine, Sansa, and Ginger Gold right behind it
later Stayman arrives followed by Mitsu
and Pink Lady to close out the season

Meal trains for UMC people having kids who live in cities with every meal delivery app at their fingertips are bogus. Times 100 if there's a request for delivery app gift cards. That's a cash grab.

Love breakfast but hate sweet breakfast foods like pancakes, French toast, etc.

Food’s okay but it’s not very interesting.

I dislike sourdough, tried some fancy expensive ones but still didn’t change my mind

Olives are the worst and I don't even know why they exist- except for olive oil.
