Seriously. It also pulls into question everything the father did professionally. He sees a black man in shorts and a t shirt jogging in the middle of the day and immediately thinks this is the guy seen on video who stole some fishing tackle from his neighbor. What imbecile thinks thieves run by houses they’ve already robbed in the middle of the day? No one was shouting, “stop thief!” The guy wasn’t carrying anything. There also wasn’t a car in sight—most thieves would have an escape other than just running. It’s so twisted in its logic, yet this man worked as a cop and a prosecutor. |

LEO here- I LOVE having a BWC. It absolutely eliminates any possibility of someone accusing me of a bias crime, offensive/racially-charged language, planting evidence or otherwise acting unethically. Go right to the video, it will show you exactly what happened for all to see. They’re fantastic, I wish we had them 10 years ago when I started, but at least we have them now. To know that I will literally NEVER have to worry about defending myself against false accusations of racism is a million pounds off my shoulders. |

How many times have you been accused of "false" racism? My LEO family, never. Each those give black friends and family members their cards to give to every LEO they come into contact with because they know it is dangerous for black people to come into contact with a LEO even when it is for help. At a minimum 50% of the police force is racist. |

From the article you linked. They bought a tv and it would not fit in the car They came back and picked it up later, at that time a customer in the store had an issue woth them. They took the tv home They came back later to demand a refund for the TV. Why do they think they are owed a free tv? Because a customer hassled them? The video starts after the cops had them on the ground, what happened before that? Why did the store call the cops? There is at least 15 mins of stuff before the video, maybe the "victim" was told no free tv and asked to leave, and wouldn’t. |
