When I saw this post from Newsom, I assumed he had some young staffer manning the account who was too stupid to know what the phrase “historically illiterate” meant.

I’m starting to wonder it was actually him running the account, and he’s the one who doesn’t know what the phrase means.

Newsom's father had the money as an appellate judge. Newsom has spoken about how he lived in two different worlds going back and forth between his parents home. He attended university on partial scholarship.

Why are people scared to acknowledge the truth

The median American dislikes education except for what it attempts to provide (economic benefits).

We are an anti-intellectual culture. Certain subcultures have an even greater disdain for education.

As AI severs the link between education and economic success, more people will be anti education.

He attended Santa Clara University in the Bay Area and got in through nepotism. Newsom likes to say he got into college through baseball and played first base but people who were actually on the team said he never played. He showed up for tryouts for the junior varsity team but never played in a game. He doesn't appear in any official team roster. The alleged scholarship was for $500 but no one has ever seen official documents of that.

Mallen, who described William Newsom as “my best friend for 75 years,” said he did not frequently write letters of recommendation for applicants while he was on the board.

This is typical Newsom exaggerating facts for his benefit and being sly and cagey about it, then when called on it says it isn't his duty to correct the record.

Can't stand this guy. I happily voted for Hillary, agreeably voted for Biden, and joyfully voted for Kamala. If this guy is the Dem choice in '28 I will grudgingly give him my vote I suppose.

Newsom was not some love child unacknowledged by his father. The mother received alimony and continued the same lifestyle post divorce. Newscum is a liar
