Biden (and Harris) repeatedly for 3 years said that they didn’t have the power to do anything. They insisted that the situation was due to Congress’s failure to act and that only Congress could legally act.

Then the election year came around and the public didn’t blame Congress they blamed Biden for the border mess so Biden in response issued a couple EOs and then like magic, enforcement started again.

I think after that chain of events it is fair to say that the first three years of open borders and chaos is the Democrats preferred policy because that’s what they did.

If they were able to get lucky enough to get a free bus ride to a generous sanctuary city, they got provided free shelter and got jobs almost immediately.

Having migrants in detention will save money. They will no longer be costing local communities money for public services. Trump also said he would send them back to Mexico to wait for their court date.

They will not sell all of their belongings to pay a human trafficker to come here if they cannot achieve the goal they want to, which is being released into and work in this country. Yeah that is the point. Deport your renters and then try to get that property tax from the owner. The owner is not paying it from their pocket. They're paying it from their rental income.

It's not illegal to cross the border and request asylum. If you want it to be illegal, you need to change the law. The President cannot merely declare it so, Congress has to do it. Biden and Democrats have been telling you this for the last 4 years but you still don't understand.

You can ask for asylum after crossing illegally once you touch US soil but you've still committed an illegal act in crossing without authorization. That was the basis for arresting parents and separating them from their children during Trump's last administration.

Crossing the border in between the ports of entry is against the law.

1) close the border, apply legally
2) stop citizenship by birth. legal parent can apply at year 7 for child.
3) deport all illegal alien criminals and fraudsters.
4) no free public school for children of undocumented illegal aliens. Go home and apply or keep your children there.
5) e-verity required. Escalating fines and then shut down.

Exactly. Outrageous how Democrats fight AGAINST e-verify at every opportunity. WHY?

Some Democratic politicians may fight against e-verify for unknown reasons but don't lump all "Democrats" in with such madness.

It's not illegal to cross the border and request asylum. If you want it to be illegal, you need to change the law. The President cannot merely declare it so, Congress has to do it. Biden and Democrats have been telling you this for the last 4 years but you still don't understand.

You are wrong. It is illegal to cross in-between ports of entry. You can ask for asylum after crossing illegally once you touch US soil but you've still committed an illegal act in crossing without authorization. That was the basis for arresting parents and separating them from their children during Trump's last administration.

That's not what the majority of the asylum seekers have done. They have presented themselves at the port of entry requesting asylum.

So please explain why the American voters continue to vote in GOP and Dem politicians that refuse to pass legislation to reform our immigration and specifically asylum protocols? Are American voters really this frickin stupid?
