John’s Hopkins Yield: 54%
Clearly it isn’t affecting students too badly when it comes decision time.

Maybe if Duke enrolled the same freshman stats. Hopkins is enrolling a stronger student body compared to what Duke admits.

Hopkins ACT: 34-35
Percent in Top 10%: 99%

Duke SAT (admitted): 1500-1560
Duke ACT (admitted): 33-35

You think that missing 45% would bring JHU averages higher?

BINGO! And, my kid was accepted to JHU this years with scores. Did not yield there.

duke is test optional. there is no way 93% of kids submitted scores. are people this dumb?

Look at the recent CDS…47% submitted SAT and 46% submitted ACT.

1/3 of our district submits both to college, about the same the last 5 years, other than the one cycle where test centers were closed for 7 months.

Then JHU is far less than 54% submitting…doesn’t change the fact that Duke kids submit test scores in far greater numbers than JHU.
