What if Biden does not bow out?

Poll numbers reflect that American voters are not confident in Biden’s ability to lead.

Democrats are free to not give in to the voters, as well.

This is going to be the reddest red wave ever.

Thank you Joe & Dr. Jill.

Where have we heard that before 🤔

It’s funny how MAGA was said continuously when Trump was president. What, it wasn’t great then? 🙄

It really was.

I mean it was great for people who like to say racist and homophobic things in public. Totally was great!

Right. Like everyone everywhere was going around saying racist and homophobic things in 2017. Sure.

The President of the US was. Enough said.

How does that look, when Trump is barely a couple of points ahead of a guy who you MAGAs describe as "vegetative," "a corpse," "senile" and so on? Don't you MAGAs realize that it makes Trump practically as bad as the guy you're reviling?

Don't you realize that even if Trump manages to get re-elected he WILL NOT have any kind of mandate to lead? When he took office in 2016 many of us were willing to give him a chance. But not this time, since we've already seen how bad he is, and he only got worse.

If Trump doesn't listen to Americans - ALL Americans, and not just the MAGA base, it will prove disastrous for him.

We heard there was going to be a red wave in 2022 and didn’t happen.

We need to stand with good ol Uncle Joe at this critical time. He has given his life to all of us, and he needs a few more years to complete his important work.

We all know he has the best cabinet and executive support team of any recent president, and as a bonus, he gets wise counsel from his spouse and siblings -people with real life experience, unlike Drumpf’s kids.

People, stop bickering! Everything will be fine. Americans don’t want to be subjected to the draconian rules of Project 2025. Joe has a lot more support than what the elite media would have you believe. Get on board, and don’t be left behind

I really want to know what you are smoking because I want the same. I can't even write the above as sarcasm and it looks like you actually meant it. Joe is done, over, I am a lifelong democrat and I am not voting for a senile guy who can't form a coherent sentence. Sorry.

There are a lot of different factors at play. On the one hand, the GOP is bonkers and not in a funny way. Voters may come out to vote for Biden to protest the overturning of Roe or because they are afraid for our democracy. But let's be real, Biden has a lower approval rating than Trump, majorities of DEMOCRATS think he is too old and HE WILL BE 86 at the end of the term he is running for. That is bonkers. Yes, Trump is also old, but next to Biden he seems coherent even if he is crazy as ever.

I'm pretty tired of Democrats saying everything is going to be fine. It's not fine. It's not looking good for Biden and I hate that Trump will probably win because nobody will take Biden's car keys away.

Joe is DONE. Yes the dems will still vote for him but he is not going to get the independents and youth to the polls which he DESPERATELY needs to win.

I am a lifelong Den (gen x female) and my god the DNC is so blind. Joe cannot win this time. Republicans LOVE trump the crimimal - nothing you post about rape or project 2025 or his convictions mean ANYTHING to them.

What Joe doensnt have is the momentum of 2020 to beat Trump at any cost. That is gone. Why? Because gen z sees JB as a war criminal and now a senile old man potentially with parkinsons. How can he finish out this next term? It’s delulu.

DP I totally hear where you are coming from, but let's be clear. Biden is in decline, and in four years he may very well be senile and not be able to form coherent sentences, but at this time that characterization is simply false. He may be incoherent at times, but most of the time he can form coherent sentences. That's part of the problem. It makes some Democratic leaders think they don't have to do the hard thing and stand up to him.

It's a problem of collective action. It's fine to stand up to Biden if everyone else is doing it. But the few of them who are doing it are not succeeding and they may face retribution from their colleagues for challenging Biden. I wish more Democratic elected officials would do what is right.

You do you. Failing to support Joe is a vote for Project 2025, and support for the fat cats having a comfortable perch at the tippy top.

We all know the media elites want Drumpf back because Drumpf=high ratings. Having a competent and good man like Joe as president is too boring, and doesn’t sell newspapers or cable tv subscriptions.

Everyone I know is still behind Joe. This negative talk about polls and dementia all stink of puppet strings and pot stirring.

Everyone I know is horrified he is still running and angry at the Dems for not putting a stop to this disaster.

Mandate?? If you guys could just hold off impeaching Trump for some made up crap for the first year or two, that would be nice.

Those Dems standing up and calling on Biden to drop out, or to resign, are Quislings of the highest degree.

Drumpf plans to unleash a a plan called Project 2025 that will completely reverse our national social progress.

The only way to defeat this nightmare is to stand behind Uncle Joe. When Biden wins, those Dems now holding up their hands as the ones who are refusing to help beat evil deserve to be on the outs. They bought the ticket, they take the ride.
