No, that's all just been idle speculation. They have thrown the names of people around who have already said they won't run. They need a REAL candidate. And they need to do it fast, they need to repair all of the damage they have done these last couple of weeks. |
If Kamala runs it will also be fun to see Dementia Don keep referring to her as Nancy Pelosi ![]() |
This was Whitmer just a few days ago https://www.pbs.org/newshour/amp/show/whitmer-says-biden-has-delivered-for-people-and-supports-his-decision-to-stay-in-race |
I am pretty sure that a good 90% plus of these "Dem insiders are saying xxx" stories that people are trotting out are completely made up. |
Stop lying and misinterpreting. The people who are most prepared and willing to take over cannot publicly say so unless Biden bows out, since they are either part of his administration (Harris), or Governors who are loyal to his administration (Newsom, Whitmer, etc). Do they want to be on top of the ticket? Very much so! But for the good of the Democratic party, right now, to avoid any fallout and divisions (which would translate to lack of delegate votes for them at the Convention), they are trying to maneuver so that Biden anoints a successor. Sadly, Biden and his team are delusional and it's not working right now. So it's a game of who blinks first. A plurality of elected Democrats (behind closed doors, not publicly) want Biden to accept he needs to go, and the more desperate they get, the happier they'd be with Harris, who is the most easily placed successor. Hence the pressure put upon his aides and relatives, because they're most to blame for propping him up in a bubble and telling him what he wants to hear. At some point a decision will have to be made. Here are the options: A. Biden bows out before the Convention (actually, before the virtual vote count in August) and names a successor. Democrats all rally behind them. Best chance of winning White House, Senate, House. B. Biden refuses and tries to run out the clock. Some Democratic leaders declare their candidacy, causing a fracture with the current administration, and we open to a wild Convention. Who knows whether Democrats win the White House, Senate or House with that kind of fight. C. Biden refuses and runs out the clock. Democratic leaders chicken out and he's the nominee. GOP wins the White House, Senate and House. The next few weeks are going to be critical for the next 4 years. |
He only has to run out the clock really until the convention. Once he has the nomination, he is locked in and the in fighting will stop, and Biden knows it. |
Why would he give the magas more time to adjust their messaging? I wouldn't expect any drop out before their convention next week. |
The miracle ticket is Hillary Clinton with Michelle Obama as VP. Take that to the bank and cash it |
Bidens wife , the greedy wench, should be given a check and put out to pasture . She’s the one dragging this out along with Hunter. Hillary was nominated in 2016 and should be the nominee now with Michelle Obama as VP. They both make stump speeches together along with Bill and Barack as the first first husbands of America . Kamala gets SoS or something |

Yet more idle speculation and made-up "insiders are saying" BS. |
But then you will have all these Democrats on record as saying their candidate is not fit to be President. The solution is a last minute swap of Kamala Harris. It has to be last minute because she is terrible. Her staff keeps quitting on her. |
The democrats’ issue is Biden and infighting, not combating the GOP’s messaging. This is supposed to be an anti Trump election because Biden’s record is hard to defend (a problem even Kamala will have to face if she is the nominee). The longer media focuses on Dem infighting and not Trump, the worse it is for Dems. |
America is over the same people being president- no Clintons, Obamas, Jeb Bush, Kennedy, etc. There is nothing about being married or related to a president that magically makes you a great candidate for president. It’s nepotism. It’s just passing the crown around to family members, basically a monarchy. Why can’t dems run anyone that isn’t a lifelong politician or a family member of a politician? |
Calm down. This is just one poster saying that’s their dream ticket. It ain’t happening. Michelle O. has repeatedly said she’s not interested in politics, and she wouldn’t be qualified to run anyway. Hillary’s time has passed plus she’s 76. |
