I honestly do not think he respects any woman enough to make one his VP.

Ouch! I do think he’ll nominate a woman. Someone young, pretty, and obscure who he can control yet get kudos for being open minded.

Nikki Haley is a bad choice. She is another elitist who advocates for MORE immigration, to bring the rest of her village over to US.

Long overdue to pause or eliminate the work visas, HX1B and OXPT and F1 and H4, that allow US companies to replace US citizens with cheap foreign labor.

When the layoffs are increase, who really believes Zuckerberg when he claims he cant find a couple hundred programmers from the 3.3 million new US college graduates that the US produces EVERY YEAR.

The travel ban essentially halted the issuance of immigrant visas to the affected countries and restricted certain types of nonimmigrant visas, such as for tourism and business, though the protocol varied from country to country.

I hate it but Trump was spot on.

This had a net negative impact on the US economy, particularly the travel and tourism/hospitality industry. That is a significant amount of the US GDP.

Weird attack. Also worth noting that she does go by her very American sounding middle name and her married name, probably because Nimarata Randhawa would have as successful a career as a Republican as Vivek. Vivek, who was assumed to be Muslim by GOP voters, and thus ineligible in their worldview.

Nah, I don't think he will. He wants a sycophantic male who will make headlines. He just can't control himself.

There's a lot of Republican women who support Haley. By doing these attacks, he's just turning them off. Maybe they won't vote Biden, but by publicly humiliating Haley he turns off those voters. They won't donate. Maybe they will write-in Haley on Election Day. But his trollish antics just serves to further shrink his base.

He has no discipline to run a strategic long-game. He needs to expand his support, but he seems intent on leaning in toward his most hard core supporters.

On "Morning Joe" today, they were discussing why none of the GOP candidates would simply call out Trump they way Hillary or Liz Cheney or Cassidy Hutchinson has.

I mean, it takes a woman to try to bring this guy down. The answer is simply...Haley needs the MAGA vote in order to have a chance at winning the national election. Putting Trump down in the primary won't get her to the convention, but not putting him down makes her unviable in November.

It is a lose-lose for the GOP, which is exactly what Lindsay Graham forecast.

Nikki Haley was born Nimarata Nikki Randhawa to Punjabi Sikh immigrants. She has gone by her middle name, a Punjabi word for "little one," since well before she entered political life.

Haley was born to Punjabi Indian immigrants and was named Nimarata Nikki Randhawa. Her legal middle name has this been Nikki since her birth -- she did not choose that name, nor did she "anglicize" her first name from Nimarata to Nikki.

Second, while Nikki is a common American nickname, it is a Punjabi one as well. As Tunku Varadarajan explained in a Wall Street Journal editorial, “'Nikki' is a Punjabi word that means 'little one,' often used as a term of endearment for the youngest girl in a Sikh family."

Finally, Haley did not adopt the name Nikki as a way to boost her political career, as she has used that name since long before she entered the political arena. For example, she identified herself as Nikki Randhawa in her 1989 high school yearbook. In 1997, she married Michael Haley and took her husband's last name, becoming Nikki Haley.

Because Nikki is a legal name given to her on her birth certificate with a cultural connection to her heritage, and because she has used this name all of her life, allegations that Nikki Haley "changed" or "whitewashed" her name are "False."

If you have to explain it to the GOP base, you already lost the plot. Sorry.

No, honey. The explanation was for Democrats, who continue to stupidly claim Nikki isn’t her actual birth name.

Sigh. Another dense Democrat. She doesn’t “go by” Nikki - it’s her given Punjabi name since birth. But you know that. At this point, you’ve been exposed for the troll that you are. Also - the vast majority of married women take their husband’s name. Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi certainly did. You probably did too. But do keep up the good fight, trying to smear Haley with her own Punjabi name. You just look so incredibly ignorant.

Well, she’s right. Only Democrats want to constantly divide Americans by race and gender.
