Nikki Haley - What are the chances

I feel like she is our only chance. I don’t identify with any political party and tend to lean liberal. Like many, I know Trump is not mentally stable and a risk to democracy and I feel Biden is too fragile.
Nikki Haley seems like a good middle of the road choice and she has a background in government.
Any thoughts? MAGA crazies need not reply.

I don’t think she is MAGA. She is playing that card to gain trust or relate to MAGA nuts. It’s a political strategy. She knows enough about foreign policy to know how dangerous Trump is.

It’s lovely that you lean liberal. Sadly Ms.Haley does not. Are you familiar with the 2025 project? You should do some research on that and then come back to this discussion.

Don't underestimate the appeal of mentally stable.

We have very mentally unstable on one side. And a physically unstable geriatric on the other.

A sane 51 year old would win a lot of votes just for being a sane 51 year old. And if she does somehow win the nomination, she would run the table on Biden. She'd win in a landslide.

I disagree with Haley on a lot of things, but I like her temperament. The bar is so low that being reasonably healthy and rational is enough to win the presidency.

But the base doesn’t care. Trump is their guy!
Shame for her. She would likely beat Biden in a head to head.
She’ll be up against a more formidable challenger in 2028. Shame for her.
