There is ZERO, zero Chance for Hayley or anyone else besides Trump. In what world are you all living in? How would anyone other than Trump get the nominee? Trump in jail? Nah, his base will scream PERSECUTION and vote for him. IF, if someone else were to win the nomination do you think Trump would accept that? No, he’s scream rigged and his voters would stay home.
I swear, whatever yall are smoking, it’s fried your brains. Trump IS the nominee because Trump (and MAGA) ARE the GOP. |
This is exactly true -- that if someone else got the Republican nomination Trump would NOT endorse them and that would be the end of that candidacy. I'm convinced this is why Republicans are falling in line behind Trump, even ones who can't stand him. They know that Trump has them all under his thumb and their hatred for Democrats makes them prefer a candidate they can't stand because at least he's nominally a Republican. |
| She is not MAGA - she took the Confederate flag off her state capitol. MAGA is pro-stars-and-bars. |
If she’s going to go along with the 2025 project, it doesn’t matter. And Heritage Foundation says it’s for all Republican candidates. She would have to come out and explicitly state she will under no circumstances use those referrals and policy advisements. |
She advocates for a national abortion ban. There is no liberal or independent who should remotely consider her. |
| I’d take her over any of the frontrunners. |

Google Bobby Jindal.
There's your answer on Haley's prospects. |
This is the term liberals use for minorities. Apparently, they're all "brown." |
I'm afraid you and your fellow Ds are sorely mistaken if you think Trump and his base are the GOP. But do go on! |
DP. What?? NO she does not. Why are you lying? She was the candidate who said there would have to be some level of compromise when it comes to abortion. https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2023/11/republican-presidential-debate-nikki-haley-abortion-answer.html |
Narrator: they are the base if you don't think they are, then you don't understand that the party has left you. Look what they did to Cheney, Kintzinger and Romney. |
Maybe. But Trump is a very unusual candidate. His support is thin but broad. And there are so many things that could derail it. Haley had a big bump after the last debate. She's clearly the alternative. DeSantis is done. None of the others have gotten any traction. When polls get a little closer, Trump will have to man up and engage in a debate. And that's not going to go well for him. But I've always underestimated the Trump thing. I don't understand any of it. |
Oh, do tell? Who are the GOP? The 212 republicans who voted to make election denier, Christian Fascist Nationalist the House Speaker? Please don’t kid yourself that GOP doesn’t equal MAGA. No, I’m sure there are people who ID as Republicans but don’t think they are MAGA. But if you vote for anyone Congress person who voted for Mike Johnson, you voted for MAGA. |
Nope. She said she would sign any ban passed by congress, whether outright, 6 weeks or whatever https://www.nytimes.com/2023/11/17/us/politics/nikki-haley-abortion-six-weeks.html here is a round up of her quotes: https://www.publicnow.com/view/F0A375342707F30604BAD9BA0526C1B5BEEBDECB Fox News: "Nikki Haley, 2024 Republican candidate, vows to sign federal abortion ban if elected president" Haley: "Yes of course I would sign [a federal ban]." "When it comes to a federal bill, I think there is a place for that." |
The absence of a reply from the pp when faced with the facts that Haley is as bat crap cray as the rest of them is best expressed as a meme of someone running so fast their tracks make flames. |
