Crossfield sucks. Very little diversity. Enjoy your bubble!

I love how Navy claims diversity just because it has wealthy Asian families. Neither school has any socioeconomic diversity whatsoever. Crossfield is about 30% Asian to Navy’s 60%.

Different people means diversity.

Unless you somehow think white people and Asian people are same.

+1 Crossfield has mostly white kids.

As do many other FCPS schools. Shall we begin bashing them, too. Oh, Oak Hill, you suck! Poplar Heights, you are the worst. F*ck you, Oakton and Waples Mill!!

This isn’t about other schools. Someone said they chose Crossfield AAP over Navy AAP. That’s fine if they want to stay with all the white kids. We love the diversity of Navy.

Of course only *high ses Asian* diversity. Not actual diversity. Give it a rest with the "diversity", tiger mom. You're not fooling anyone.

You're not fooling anyone that there is no diversity in Asians.

Indians, Koreans, and Chinese aren't the same.

That is actual diversity.

+1 and Navy has that, unlike Crossfield. I’d rather my kids go to a diverse school.

Your little snowflakes are in for a rude awakening when they get to Oakton. And they WILL go to Oakton. There's very little chance your baby is going to TJ like you hope and wish for.

Lol. Oakton is known for rich kids. It’s not the “rude” awakening you think it is.

You know we're talking about race here, right? Oakton is not majority Asian like Navy. Read.

Oakton is majority white. There is no rude awakening. Now if it were Herndon High, there would be one. Idiot.

Are you being purposefully obtuse? PP talks about how they prefer Navy because it is diverse (e.g. majority Asian) and Crossfield is bad because it's "not diverse" (e.g. only 40% non-white). Oakton is more similar to Crossfield than Navy. They'll hate it, it's not majority Asian.

Now do you understand you complete fool???

Everyone knows Oakton is similar to Crossfield in terms of white kids. It wouldn’t be a rude awakening whatsoever. Less diverse, sure. But not a rude awakening.

What I've learned from this conversation is that it must be Navy mommies are completely clueless and don't know how to read critically, LOL

Maybe put down the wine?

Every time an employee is considering working at Navy or a family is thinking about moving within its boundaries, this thread will show up in an internet search and they will know to stay far away.

Navy parent. Yes, the school is intense but please don’t impute the level of idiocy on this thread to the entire school. I think it’s 2-3 people who, from what I can surmise, need serious mental health therapy. (And I already know the response from them. I’m unhinged! Put down the wine! Move on! )

I don't believe this is the correct usage of impute.

If you really are concerned, hit the “Report” button and ask Jeff to delete it. There’s nothing of value here and it should’ve been shut down weeks ago.

We would probably just create a new one.

Are you the same one who had the previous thread shut down because it was about your old beloved principal?

Anyone know what the principal will do about the kiss and ride issue?

It was better but recent weeks its slowed down a lot from people parking in the kiss and ride lot that everyone has to drive though.

It is really slow now in the morning. On occasions when my kids missed the bus, it took forever to get through the line. Here is what I have noticed. 1. Parents, you do not need to stop right in front of the school. It is ok to be 5 cars back and stop and let your kids out. 2. If you have to help your kid get out of their car seat and help with backpack, keep driving and park and then help them, do not hold up the line for that. 3. People that are parked and need to back out should yield to cars exiting the line. When the line is stopped that is when you should back out. These things should be common sense and parents should be more mindful of other people in the morning and make considerate decisions.
