I honestly can't believe the above comment. The PP is worrying about "misgendering and deadnaming" the shooter of little kids? Sorry, no. I will be referring to the murderer by her biological sex, which was female. She deserves absolutely no respect and I can't believe anyone would suggest otherwise.

HE killed them. You don’t gender Hitler as she/her as punishment for being..well Hitler do you? It’s pretty important to gender trans people correctly, especially in situations like this. People were confused earlier in the thread and the police were misgendering him and no one knew if he was a trans man or a trans woman. He is a trans man.

You're right but mental health tends to go hand in hand with trauma. Physical abuse is accepted in this country except when it gets to certain extremes. Spare the rod spoil the child anyone?
We as a country 100% prioritize parents' rights over children's rights. We lack investment in social welfare and we have lots of people who have their own trauma and then have kids. We also don't have a very accepting and loving culture in the United States.

This is literally the reason why it’s important. He identifies as a man. He uses he/him pronouns and was going by Aiden. I believe he hadn’t legally changed his name yet but he was transgender man. People are insisting it isn’t important what his gender was but these same people are going to claim he was an MtF trans woman when in fact he was an FtM trans man.

All that requires is paying salaries for more training, for more mental health professionals, and for more support resources. You know where that money could come from?

- defense spending
- nuking the entire, corrupt lobbyist industry and channeling all of that money into mental health

And we don't care that people with raging mental health issues can easily get access to as many guns and as much ammunition as it takes to shoot up a school full of children.

Well that checks out. She probably lost her son a long time ago. My mom lost me and I don’t know any trans people on good terms with their parents and I know a lot of other trans people. I’m sure someone out there exists but it seems pretty common to be completely estranged from one or both parents once you come out as trans. It just further isolates trans people if they don’t go out and try to find community and found family.

A LinkedIn page, link to that is upthread, shows he/him pronouns if you use desktop view not mobile. The linkedin profile name is still Audrey, but that page provides an Instagram link or tag on the page that includes the name Aiden.
