And moderate dems giving them the thumbs up. |
The problem with that is about 1/2 the women in this country support the ruling based on voting history. |
Well half do not along with millions of men. You all better out there and vote for some representation that will fight for your rights and those of your son's and daughters. |
It's only broken if it doesn't rule the way you want it to, right? |
No. It’s broken because of unprecedented judicial activism. |
Lol. Sure. |
It is broken because one of the justices is involved in the insurrection, and three others have lied under oath about upholding precedent. It is broken. |
No, but that wash post article about trying to pass a law to ban it nation wide is the next step for republicans. They will continue to find another issue to consume people. |
I'd agree more with this sentiment if it wasn't for the fact that we have record inflation and a looming recession on our hands, along with the possibility of greater involvement in Ukraine. I'd wager the typical voter will prioritize these concerns over abortion come November. |
Look all the privacy protections are gone- birth control, gay rights, etc. We no long have a right to privacy. The Supreme is a radical and unaccountable government branch. It is time for massive reforms including increasing the court to 120 and making them stand for election. |
Abortion has been a priority issue for voting for many years for many people. |
It will be interesting to see how candidates answer questions about that. Most Republican politicians have been saying they think it should be up to the states. I wonder how many will want to be on record saying they support a nationwide ban. Certainly the hard core right wingers in super red areas can say this but hard to publicly support that if you need independents and moderates to win. |
