Political Discussion
You folks are great at casting stones, whether they are truthful or not. But let's say for the sake of argument I agree with you, what is the GOP proposal? I'll save you the effort: there is not one. There never is. McConnell admitted as much for the midterms and said there would be no real platform, only a promise of revenge. Real nice from the party of family values. |
More Putin propaganda. |
Oh, that makes me feel so much better. So, we aren't really dealing with inflation, the devaluation of our savings, rising costs for basic necessities, high gas prices, and we aren't dealing with a threat of nuclear war or cyber attacks. So, things are actually sunny and bright and this is all Putin propaganda. Well, damn. I could swear I am living it. |
We are dealing with those things pretty well actually. That's the thing. We have extremely low unemployment and people out spending money. The situation is much more mixed than people realize. If you read these posts you would believe that people are starving and that we have no electricity. There is so much drama in some of these posts. If you are my age you have been through these cycles before. I'm sorry that the PP poster is not "feeling so much better". I hope you are getting involved in promoting candidates for a future election or that you are doing something to feel better. You can make positive changes in your life to feel better. |
| working families like mine are getting killed by Biden's inflation. |
"We" - being those with a HHI over 300,000. You don't seem to understand how this economy has affected people on lower incomes or on fixed incomes. People who are making hard choices about what to forego don't really care about the unemployment number. |
Still waiting for an answer to this . . . |
That’s because no one cares about those people. Neither “side” does. |
Hey man…you earn less than 300k just take the bus, eat beans and lentils and kill your pet. Then you’ll save you’re money lolololol |
It's global inflation caused by the recovery from COVID and exacerbated by 1) corporate greed and 2) Russia's invasion of Ukraine. What do you suggest as a solution? The administration had one, but the GOP opposed it. So what do you suggest? |
As are many. Bidenomics has killed the American working class. Putin did him a favor. By invading Ukraine the democrats and their sheep just parrot the false narrative Russia caused this ignoring the fact we were getting killed before and it started mid last year. Remember there was no inflation, then it was “transitory”, then it was “well it’s a good thing”. Not it’s Russia!!! The DC crowd doesn’t see it nor do they care, they’re like the capital in the hunger games. The rest of hard working Americans are wondering if they fill up the tank all the way or eat that day and the liberal elites here are like…just buy a Tesla silly…or take the bus! *sips Starbucks* |
No they didn’t. Their plan was “gas cards” and sending billions to Ukraine for nothing |
Wow. You have really got those Biden talking points down. Blame everyone and everything but yourself and your policies..... Joe could get the US producers of oil to ramp up production. But, he won't. Increasing our gas supply would lower prices on a ton of goods. Instead, he turns to countries that hate the US to buy more oil, despite the fact that their production is not near as clean as ours. He could encourage farmers to use more of their land to produce more crops. But, he won't, give the EO he issued.... https://www.3newsnow.com/news/local-news/nebraska-farmers-and-ranchers-voice-concerns-with-president-bidens-30x30-executive-order And, there is still a backlog at the LA port. It has improved, but there are still issues. |
cause =/= exacerbate Ultimately, prices are high because of corporate greed. Example, the cost of a barrel of oil has gone from $125 to $90, yet the price at the pump has remained unchanged. How is that Biden's fault? |
