This seems like a big update. |
Kudos to the community for being pretty right with rumors tracking official. Mind boggling MLS academy still on the fence |
| Pretty sure link is old, though I dont see a date. I also posted a link dated Aug 1 stating all MLSN going BY. Our club in June stated all MLSN going BY. MLSN was absolutely planning on staying BY and probably communicated this to clubs. But it seems like they have backtracked on this committment, are now undecided, and probably have an upcoming vote. |
No need for mlsn1 to change 26/27, the SY feeder system wouldn’t become an issue until 27/28. That part is not surprising. There is a more complicated decision for mlsn2. Players play high school so changing 26/27 would help 8th graders who are trapped. Would also create a headache for clubs that have both 1 and 2 because of different age cutoffs. |
I seem to remember the faker guaranteeing that MLS at all levels would go SY. When I have some time I'll need to find the links so I can post them when he claims that he didnt. |
Wasn’t me I only have girls but I always remember that the mls academies would stay BY. The MLSN 1/2 would switch. I don’t know the boys side well enough to know what the difference between home grown or anything. |
| That info from SoCal forum. OG poster on socal says he doesnt know how old it is |
| seems to imply he didnt just get it directly |
| My position remains: nobody knows nothin, including MLSN |
Metadata says its was created on 10/16 |
|
Its interesting two seperate socal MLS clubs have vastly different info.
|
This was an old working doc and never went live . Nothing to see here. |
Just checked... By OG do you mean account that was created May 7th and has posted 1 time. (the post with the CitySC link)? |
Again Metadata says it was created 10/16 this month. |
The Albion one seems like it was scratched together by someone's kids. The CitySC one seems much more professional. |
