I don't not see your point. However, the point was that the French have only done boneheaded things in the past 100 years and we've had to save their ass countless times. They wouldn't even exist today with the borders they have since all the other European countries historically seem to dislike them. They have no ground to stand on, moral or otherwise. So they need to pay up. Secondly, and more importantly, this is the exact reason why we need sever all ties with Israel. |

There is lots of chatter that the US air tanker was shot down over Iraq. There were two tankers returning to base flying over Iraq. The first one saw the an anti aircraft missile coming up and took evasive action. The second did not and got hit.
