I do not know where you could stage troops to invade Iran. The range, accuracy and endless supply of drones and missiles the Iranian have would make it very hard to have a staging area anywhere in the Gulf.

We should not be wasting money that's borrowed, using our our children and grandchildren as collateral, fighting other country's wars. However, since we unfortunately are, the French, and especially the French, should be the first in line to offer any and all help. They literally have nothing else to offer America anymore except toast and fries.
