In Surf Cup, some MLSN teams are in the 2nd bracket and get beaten by RL teams. |
This is why MLS2 exists. |
Wrong logic. None of the MLSN clubs were demoted. Only our RL players who can not make the NL team go to local MLSN team and miss the HS soccer exp. |
Ok whatever you want to believe. |
Says the guy with a July son riding the bench on MLSN1 |
Have you asked your club if they will allow playing up and whose decision it would be? |
In her case it is probably beneficial for her to play up with her grade and that decision will be made between you and her club, as it should be. There will be no rule saying that she HAS to play up with her grade and if she can’t make the top team playing up that she has to play up on the B team. That’s the difference. |
What age bracket are you talking about? |
|
I know this will fry the GY guys brain which I do enjoy but my sons ECNL director said he’s 90% sure ECNL will be GY for Juniors/Seniors showcases. GY guy don’t worry sounds like there will be rules that will make sure no 20 year old freshman or things like that.
If that is the case would parents have their kid play up to be ready for that higher competition or stay down until it’s forced for showcases and play younger for league. |
You do realize that ECNL already plays u18/u19 as a single group. Seriously look it up. Your director was just quoting rules that already exist. Why dont you sit back and learn + do rudimentary research on your own before commenting. |
Just because I dont think you'll understand unless someone spells it out for you. u18/u19 = Juniors and Seniors on the same team. |
|
What the GY Guy wants is GY Showcases where players just tell the officials what grade they are in school. This would allow someone to hold their kid back 2x Sophmore year letting them be in the most recruited group 3 years in a row and for two years being 1 year and 2 years older than the rest of the team. As a "Junior" and "Senior" they would be 2 years older than the rest of the team. This would give a held back player 5 years of potential recruitment and for 4 years they would be a year or two older than the rest of the team.
This is what happens at private schools all the time. The schools love it because its two extra years of tuition. Rich parents love it because their kid can cheat by being 2 years older than the team. Its a win win. |
Ok. You’ll be proven wrong again. Your track record is that you’ve been wrong on every single decision. Maybe sit this one out? |
You've been proven to fake documents and screenshots 2x. Sorry partially right guesses dont count. |
I haven’t faked or created anything. Just commenting here like anyone else who has seen them floating around. That being said, a ‘right guess’ is still better than always being wrong… Again, you may want to be introspective and figure out why you keep being on the wrong side of reality. |
