Where is the counter evidence to support the claims that this is cherry picked or missing important GA successes?

Just by basic math, there are 347 D1 women's soccer teams, c. 8300 players, or 2000+ slots a year in D1 alone. With that perspective, the only data offered in support of GA's performance--700 commits in one year across all divisions--is not very compelling. GA folks are arguing that there has been a regime change. The burden is on them to show it with actual evidence, not just complain about other evidence.

Again, theres Theres DII, DIII, NAIA, and NJCAA.

GAs "burden" is to show the number of commitrments every year. Which they provide. (ECNL does not. Wonder why?)

GA shows the commits every year bc they are trying to make an argument and think they have something to prove. ECNL doesn’t think it has anything to prove. Maybe if GA becomes more of a threat than it has so far, it will. Right now the primary thing going for GA is pressure from the boys side, not anything inherent in what GA is offering except freedom to go MLSN.

That's like saying "we're so good that we dont need to keep score". Sorry doesn't make sense. Hiding information isnt a good look.

Do you actually believe that is the class of 2024, ECNL had fewer than 700 commits across D1, D2, D3, etc.?

Imyouthsoccer points to nearly 700 D1 commits in the class of 2026 just from the top (for placement) 53 ECNL clubs.

I do know that ECNL used to post committment numbers then stopped doing it. Why? Don't know. My guess is that GA commitment numbers were eating into the total to they took it down.

Lots of people criticize his post but no one points out anything he said that's wrong. Are there another 40+ GA teams with 10+ D1 commits? Should be easy to find at least a few of them. Was he wrong about any of the listed ECNL teams having 10+ commits? Which ones? If you can refute it, go ahead. Otherwise just sounds like sour grapes.

FYI, DD is ‘27 GA player. Have already received multiple offers from very good D3 schools. Have been contacted and already had conversations with some Mid Majors and they want to schedule visits after August 1st. No interest from any P4s at this point. Bottom line we have at least one D3 we know she likes and also one D1 she likes. Don’t expect an offer until official visit. D3 has already offered max Academic scholarship thanks to GPA.

We look at anything from here out as an added bonus and let her decide if she likes any other schools that may contact her. Still have GA Showcase over the next few days to impress.

Just sharing our firsthand experience as a GA parent. Good luck to all of you and don’t rush!!!

Im not going to research faulty ridiculous data sourced from X Insta and Facebook posts. Maybe ECNL can start posting commitment numbers again so people dont have to jump through hoops.

Iamsoccerdork is a promoter and an ECNL coach. His posts are designed to make it seem like he's the only one that has all the answers. If you pay him to promote your kid he'll be able to open doors.

Congratulations. My kid plays at a top Socal GA club and the older players seem to have similar experiences.

My DD had her first school reach out last week, University of Alabama. We couldn't believe it. Outside of football I dont know anything about this school. She's very excited that they reached out. The club also has recruiter types stopping by during sessions all the time to look at players.

Not really sure where any of this will lead to but GA playoffs are this weekend and we're expecting to do well. The entire club is amped and ready to go.
