| I can't fathom not having cleaning help after having children. I would work just to pay for my cleaning lady. Everyone we know has a cleaning lady. Someone stated on another threat that only the top 10% had cleaning help. Is that true? |
Hell no, I had one when I was single and making 50k. |
| 175k here. No cleaning lady and we could definitely afford it. I enjoy cleaning, laundry and especially organizing. I pick different tasks and I rotate them. I've been cleaning windows inside this week. Kinda satisfying to see progress. |
| We made around $160k last year and cannot afford a cleaning lady. |
| I am divorced with two kids and earn 80K. No alimony, so-so child support. No cleaning lady. . . no way. And my house is dirty all the time. |
p Yeah, sounds like a blast. |
| What thread was that? |
I agree that it's a good time. As such, I'm willing to forfeit my own enjoyment in order to allow you to reap all the fun and pleasure of doing all my housework for me. You can come over on Saturday at 3pm

Oh, my poor dear, you sound so disconnected from reality. I never had a cleaning lady and probably never will. We are millionaires - which in our world is not saying much these days, but in the REAL world is rather a privileged status! Most of my friends have cleaning help. But I don't feel the urge to do everything my friends do, you know. |
Me too. Four kids. I fantasize about having a cleaning lady. Oh if only ... |
Keep telling yourself that. I'll bet your DH won't allow it, even though you work. Sucks to be you!!!!!! |
Oh, look, a teen acting like a preschooler! |
| 150k and no cleaning lady. It feels uncomfortable to have someone else clean my house even if I wanted to spend the money. |
| 525k, two-income household, and no cleaning lady. |
| $50k, single income, with cleaning lady! |
