Blinken is at State. Yellen is at Treasury.

I like Lloyd Austin at Defense. Maybe Sally Yates at DOJ?

Yates would be a great choice, but there is concern about her getting through confirmation. Flournoy is more qualified than the other candidates for Sec Def, who don't really have strong policy chops, though it would be strange to have so many officials from West Exec. But maybe Flournoy and either Jeh Johnson or Deval Patrick for attorney general? Patrick seems like a great pick but I guess some are unhappy with him for his presidential nom run.

CNN is reporting that Lujan Grisham is the top contender for HHS.

He go surgeon general.

Yes, SG with expanded responsibilities. The correct concern was that he lacked the executive experience to run a large bureaucracy like HHS. Why Biden is looking at governors.

Source? CNN thinks that he is lobbying to head the CDC which is not a Senate approved position.

Dr. Vivek Murthy, a key adviser to Biden on coronavirus and a former surgeon general, has fallen out of contention for the HHS secretary role, people familiar with the matter say. He has expressed interest in leading the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which is not a Senate-confirmed position.

Not enough experience and his confirmation might have been problematic.

A while back, a poster mentioned Finkenauer as SBA Administrator, which would be fantastic.

Yes, and he'd be a great choice but heavy pressure on Biden for more diversity in his picks.
