I agree with much of this. One can quibble about the chicken or the egg issue but the end result is the same. |
DA also helped with recruiting, a concern with GA is level of competition. If ECNL is an option FCV should pursue it. |
If FCV gets into ECNL who is staying at Loudoun? |
It’s not |
| FCV is not getting ECNL. Even if they did, they wouldn’t get a lot of Loudoun players. FCV has plenty of warts as a club and families know it. Remember FCV had Girls’ DA and Loudoun didn’t have yet have ECNL and the clubs were “partners” encouraging the top Loudoun players to move over to the FCV DA teams. Some moved over to FCV but A LOT of the top Loudoun players didn’t move to FCV. Have to think it was because of FCV’s reputation. |
Players only moved for a possible two age groups at the time and the best Loudoun players did leave Loudoun. The older FCV teams already had the Loudoun players they wanted and the younger, non-DA aged players were never considered and were all to remain at their club. |
Loudoun 07 ECNL |
You made bro? How did the MU humble pie taste? Have fun beating GA teams 12-0 just to tie, lose, or barely beat bottom dwelling ECNL teams |

FCV > Loudoun after 2007s (U15-U17 most important years...)
ECNL > GA and it isn't really even close. FCV is only decent club in our area. Baltimore Armour is a stretch. SJEB is only other decent club in Mid Atlantic Division and they are no PDA or NCFC. You know that and I know that. FCV Era is coming to an end if it can't get back into ECNL. If your DD is 2008 or under, get out after this season. You many even want to consider leaving if your DD is 2007. 2006 and older is already established and can ride out the storm. These are the facts. To make things worse, if Loudoun is able to land a good coach for the older age groups, it's really over. End of debate. |

Dang... put crack pipe down. VDA 06 ENCL |
ECNL missing out on claiming youth national players by not having FCV on it but keeping lame shitty Loudoun. Sounds very smart!

You really can’t be this dense. |
Getting called into a virtual camp is not being on a youth national team. The way they handed out invites, I’m assuming a few hundred girls will be on the zoom calls. Get A Grip |
| I feel like I can literally hear you crying when you say “lame shitty Loudoun” #enjoyGA |
