| So we want class while watching professional football? Isn't that an oxymoron? |
I agree a lot of the players are exploited too. |
| I thought the show was great. I think the outfits took away from it. I didn't need a crotch show from any of the performers. I can't believe they are so strong. |
It’s like St Alban’s in DC. I’m not from DC obviously but follow the private schools. It’s the elite wealthy mostly conservative group that runs the town. I think people who aren’t latins internationally don’t realize that the place at the table already existed in central & south American, and countries worldwide. They just sold the sex part. The USA really doesn’t get the speaking many languages part. Katy Perry doing the same is still appalling but she already had the seat at the table. Using your seat to pole dance is just ridiculous. It’s a little circle that’s wide how to promote themselves while making the culture street. Did you all notice how gang like the guy who came on stage with Shakira was? It’s like MS-13 on stage. There’s different levels of class in Latin America too. |
This is probably one of the pitiful arguments I've seen in awhile. Comparing last night's performance to ballerinas, trapeze artists, volleyball players, etc is completely ridiculous. PP's 14 yr old son is not making it about sex, the performers are! That entire performance reeked of sex (with the exception of Jlo's daughter) and it is not a 14 yr old's fault for thinking of sex when he sees it. It's like saying 'okay everyone I'm going to show you a commericial with a juicy mouth watering cheeseburger but how dare you get hungry when you see it. Shame on you!' |
Someone did a number on you! Seriously. |
|
Latina here- I just didn’t like the show and I thought it could’ve been better because I know they have really good music.
Prince and Bruno Mars rate at the very top for me followed by Aerosmith. |
No i agree when you put it that way no. But it lowers society as a whole. Keeps people in their socioeconomic classes. |
|
I thought the dancing was crude and NASTY.
These women were objectifying themselves. What a pair of bimbos. |
I think you are crude and NASTY. Why do you choose to objectify dancers. You are jealous. |
Humans are sexual beings. I highly doubt your teens will never look at a human with any sexual interest or have any sexual desires. The human race would have died out eons ago if men didn't look at women are sexual beings. People can choose to emphasize or not emphasize the sexual side of themselves in how they present themselves. This can be done through words, outfits, dance moves etc. If someone wants to be sexualized and acts in a very sexualized way, there is nothing wrong with them being sexualized. Tons of people were thinking about sex. That is human nature. You seem completely void of common sense. Thinking about someone's body in a sexual way when they are putting themselves out there in a sexual way doesn't mean that woman's body is only about sex it just means that at that moment that is focus they are presenting. |
Again, I think professional football does that way before the half time show at the Superbowl. |
You can see this antiquated way of thinking is passed down from generation to generation to generation. |
| Shakira is married to Pique (10 years here junior I might add, go Shakira) and they are a huge power couple with probably way more recognition on the international stage than JLo. It was marketing genius to add Shakira to the halftime show. It’s no secret the NFL is trying to add to their market as viewership has gone down. Trying to get interest from Spanish speaking viewers isn’t a dumb idea. |
| Months of planning went into this show. Every single detail was intentional. They put on a high energy, fun performance. It's the Superbowl halftime show, ffs, what would Becky and Karen and Jimbo prefer to see? |
