The article cited IMMEDIATELY BEFORE your comment was quoted as mentioning Clinton. What's more, all of the liberals I see commenting online are crystal clear that they're more than happy to feed Clinton to the wolves if there is evidence he's caught up in molesting kids.

I don't know anyone who thinks that if Clinton was involved with this, he should be spared. Let every sick depraved evil person who was involved with Epstein's sex trafficking ring see justice.

My point is, why now? It's convenient to say "if Clinton was involved" but the reality is, New York has done nothing about Epstein until right now. So why now?

Because AG Barr is in charge now.

So it’s to discredit Barr?

He's already done that to himself.

So it's not surprising that he's been protected for far too long. There are layers of corruption in every institution.

The timing is right for whatever reason. So I'm not questioning it.

That’s your first mistake. Because layers of corruption don’t vanish

i don't make mistakes with this case. I posted about it years ago, but only a handful cared - or even knew about it. While corruption runs deep, sometimes the timing is right and the truth comes out.

It's taken years to find some moles and weak spots. I bet he and his men are going down. And I love it.

And who worked with Ken Starr back in the day? That’s right. Beer Bong Brett.

Here’s some of what they found. I assume more charges will be coming.

The young [name] + [name] sounds like blackmail material.

no pics of his "clients?" hoping and praying they find lewd pics of those men! right into jail for life!

Epstein required the girls to provide details about what they did with those pigs before he gave the girls $$$. He has closed circuit cameras in and around his NY home. There are images of these pigs to be sure!

Same. There are countless victims. Epstein and his perverted pedophile friends deserve to rot in prison and worse.

Life will never be the same for those women. The FBI is doing some very important work. It's not about politics. It's about rooting out the rot in our society. When it affects our most vulnerable . . . our children . . . it is incredibly heinous. It's hard to believe Acosta let this happen. Acosta needs to resign.

So basically, Pizzagate actually happened, except it was with Donald Trump's associates, in a mansion in Florida, and there was no pizza.

Is that about right?

I very much support this investigation and holding those responsible accountable. So don't take this comment as detracting from the prosecution. But you're mentioning the "rot" in our society reminds me of a thought I had as to whether our society has actually been getting better in this regard. In particular, I've heard stories from the 70s that made it seem like preying on young girls was commonplace or at least not regarded as too terrible. Jimmy Page and David Bowie were pretty famously with a 13 or 14 year old groupie. Ted Nugent had similar tastes and had a song called "Jailbait." Roman Polanski sexually assaulted a 13 year old. Nick Gilder's "Hot Child in the City" was a number 1 hit.

And yet, Epstein was able to run rampant from about that time to the present.

Hopefully we are getting better. Epstein appears to have been trafficking these young girls and also using them to blackmail wealthy men. He's a monster.

I still think they're predators. I may have looked 18 when I was 14 and b/c of that attracted 18 yo boys, but I knew better than to stay around some creepy 25 yo, for example. And I say this as someone who grew up during the 70s and 80s.

Bowie was a predator. Polanski was a rapist. There's no way to ever defend their actions. We aren't living during Medieval times where young girls were married off to men in their 20s.

Epstein and his men are rapists. Epstein enslaved young girls and scared them into having sex with older men. He encouraged them to recruit others. These girls were young, naive, oftentimes abused and neglected - runaways, etc.

Any older man in this time period who has sex with a minor should be jailed and surrounded by a bunch of angry men who HATE rapists.

But I bet their jail time will be cushy.
