I guess this takes Acosta out of the AG running. |
I feel sick over this story. Sick and outraged. These poor girls - their lives and their suffering meant nothing to anyone with power. |
Not with this Administration! Please. Trumpers will start arguing that the 14 yo girls were prostitutes or all 60 women making this claim are in it for the money. Also Ken Starr is a monster. |
All of the people in this story are monsters. |
Sec Acosta needs to be fired. Now. Absolutely disgusting. |
+1 Makes me want to vomit. So much wrong there. |
True. I was surprised he was involved with this mess. Surprised he would fully support a pedophile. Not surprised that Dershowitz is involved. |
This is a well sourced multi part article by several reporters at least three of the Palm Beach police investigators went on camera and explain how they broke the story. When they had evidence girls were being brought in from other states and countries they turned it over to US Attornet Acosta. He quelched the story. This is Pulitzer territory. |
If anyone knows of any protests that will occur demanding Acosta’s resignation please post as I would want to go. This is beyond the pale. |
So... any articles in national newspapers? |
Ken Starr’s involvement is unsurprising. Look into why he’s not at Baylor anymore and you’ll see. |
Surprisingly no. Just blog-type sites. |
Other than the article in the Miami Herald?? |
+1. Major national newspapers don’t just copy/paste reporting on an investigation by another newspaper that likely took YEARS to report out. |
Ken Starr seems irresistibly drawn to using sexual misconduct for personal advantage. |
