Ken Starr helped Epstein get his sweet deal.

There is too much coincidence here... so many people have speculated that Trump was involved with Epstein’s disgusting actions... did he hire Acosta to keep him indebted to him?

Interesting theory.

The more I think about it the more it becomes clear- is Acosta, a career Republican and former civil servant, in the same league with Betsy and Ben and Rick Perry? Why would Trump choose such a boring guy for this one agency? Unless there was a reason...

Acosta wasn’t the first choice, though - it was that wifebeater chain restaurant owner guy.

True, but even then Acosta seemed like an unusual choice.

Everyone needs to read the Herald’s expose. This is literally one of the most reasonable picks Trump made, and he is terrible.

And keep in mind that was only part one of the report.

I read the article - stomach turning. I admire the law enforcement people who were so dogged in gathering evidence and who are prepared to speak up now to try to get justice for the victims.

MSNBC is covering this story right now

I wonder if Epstein has evidence of the rape that he and Trump were accused of? Maybe that’s the evidence Russia has over him? Likely, given his inability to control himself, there is a treasure trove out there somewhere.

Maybe we should ask if here are any trump picks that aren’t terrible. Seems like a shorter list. I guess Elaine Chao has only engaged in traditional thievery and nepotism, so maybe she’s the least offensive. rick Perry has avoided getting his name in the news, but that’s because he is basically doing no work and acting as a lobbyist instead.
